Prof. Walker is a great professor if he teaches the style you like. He does not use powerpoint and gives out handouts occasionally. Be prepared to write as he is talking. Also marks tend to be on the lower side don't expect a 90 if you aren't willing to put a lot of effort into the class.

Amazing prof. Life changing. SUPER intelligent. Very good class. You have to take good notes during the lab sections if you want to have something to study from to do well in the lab exams. But that's not a bad thing, that's how school works, deal with it. Excellent Prof.

Very brilliant man certainly living a charmed life. He does scope out classes for people he feels would be good grad students, I can see how this would lead to hard feelings with those not on the receiving end. I personally love him, and have learned a great deal in his classes.

Walker is very knowledgeable but not a good prof. His lectures are disorganized, he doesnt have any formal or posted notes. Exams are not fair. You have no idea what to study from his rambles in class.

Dr. Walker is very knowledge, practically an expert, but not a good teacher. Lectures are very disorganized, there are no notes posted, and he dictates the whole period. Exams are not fair. You have no idea what he expects you to know for from his rambles in class. Dont take this class if you are looking for a nice elective.

Interesting class. He dictates everything so be prepared to write like mad. Exams are tough DO STUDY and then STUDY SOMEMORE. Lab quizzes are pretty straight forward -- taking pictures helps. Wasn't a fan of the text. It was a little too detailed but it was appropriate to the class. all in all pretty good prof. very approachable.

I am soooo glad that I'm not the only one who noticed those brown nosers who get everthing only because they play up to his ego. They're the ones who get undergrad T.A.ships and to be sessional lecturerers as grad tudents. He doesn't care if he takes away jobs from others just as long as his pets get what they want,

Arrogant. Unapproachable. Reads straight from notes. Smart but expects too much of undergrad students. Heard he only helps his pets - undergrad and grad students who are willing to follow him around and cater to his ego. Yes, he's received teaching awards, but does he really deserve them?

Like M. Kennedy, all Of E.G. Walker's exams are kept in the APALA office. People were using them to cheat all of the time. Even a couple of current grad students were using them as undergrads.

I took many classes from Ernie a couple of years ago. He never showed up to class because he was to busy with the RCMP. He has a group of brown-noser undergrads and masters students that follow him like sad puppies. He tends to give them higher marks. I recommend bypassing taking classes from him. All of the arch. exams are up in the APALA office!!

I have taken 4 classes from this man!!! He is the best prof I have had in my four years in University!! In regards to jobs, you should do that kind of research on your own!! Excellent notes, very organized, take his classes so you have the pre-reqs to take forensics!!! Awesome class!!!

He does teach well,and his knowledge shows.His organization is unmatched with many professors I've had.he brings his notes to class but only refers to it as his lecture that day.I recommend taking him for at least 1 class.his teaching style aids your note taking abilities soon your notes in all classes will reflect higher grades.
