Ernie williams is amazing. the man changed my life. people dont understand him. He is a tough love kind of guy. If you put your ego down for one sec and just accept how brilliant this man is and that you want to know more- you would not regret it. Till this day i remember the things i learned in that class.

Ernie Williams literally changed my life. He is such smart man and I learned so much from him. I never thought i would enjoy a philosophy class that much but he made it fun and interesting. Make sure you read the assignments and you will be perfectly fine in his class. I love this man.

Do not take Phil of Love UNLESS you are ready to learn about yourself. Class was worse than therapy. Ernie makes you open up and makes you think. I wasn't ready for it at the time, but years later I find myself thinking of that class & still using some things I learned. Tests are hard. Class is emotionally challenging & draining. He can be mean.

Honestly, i wish i could take the class again. There is really no way to pass the class if you do not go and do the work. But if you go, do the work, and study then you will have NO problem. Ernie and Shannon are great people and only want to help you. It teaches you a great amount about yourself, and you can apply this to life unlike most classes.

The best course I had in my life It is more of an experience that I would like to have over and over. SI mandatory if you want a good grade. tests are difficult but an A is achievable. Highly recommended as a life changing experience

Ernie Williams is simply indescribable.Shannon is amazing,and so helpful,IF YOU DO THE READINGS.He teaches you through the book,not necessarily in class.TAKE THIS CLASS.It made me look at life in a different way.If you do not put in the effort however,you will fail.It is alot of work for a gen ed, but worth it in the end. He is unforgetable.

Ernie definitely has his favorites in class and makes it clear who those people are. He's a good professor but as a person he does not seem too nice. His tests are hard, SI is necessary, and not "thinking" is a no no. He has no problem being sarcastic for ten minutes straight toward one student and they don't even know it.

rude but his class is rewarding when you pass his tests. GO TO SI!!!! thats how you pass! he has favorites and does act like he knows everything and you dont. didnt like him much but the lessons with buddhism were enjoyable, Mrs. Shannon is your best friend throughout his class. his papers are tricky but you need to take them seriously!

Graduated back in 1997....I am finishing up my Masters now and have a bunch of kids. I'm rolling right into a Doctorate program so that I may teach at the college level. Ernie, although unbeknownst to him, will be the model upon which I try to mold my teaching style. He had a profound influence on the way I view the world! Just outstanding.
