Dr. Dadlez is an incredible woman. She's obviously very knowledgeable and does her very best to show both sides of every argument. The lectures are comprehensive and very helpful, and she sometimes gives extra credit for participating in class debates. Attendance is lax, you can miss up to 15 classes before there's any repercussion.

She's fair and balanced, listens, she doesnt judge but requires you to be logical. No homework, Take notes, Show up for every class (otherwise you'll need to read the book), Extra credit: debates 1/3 letter grade added to previous test grade. No midterm, no final, just three tests. 50 multiple choice questions and 500-1000 word essay.

Professor Dadlez is very nice and understanding. You have a lot of readings from the book which she mentions in class and is included in the tests so read those. Tests are hard and there is a short essay with every single one. Attendance is mandatory but she gives you 15 days to miss so kind of lenient. The final is not accumulative.

Easy class. She allows up to 15 absences before failing you for attendance. Says the book is mandatory but you really don't need it if you show up to class. NO HOMEWORK. Literally the only grades you will have are 4 test grades that are half multiple choice, half essay.

Pretty cool teacher. Hard class and won't answer your question very clearly. Only grades in the class are 4 test.

Taken Dadlez a couple times now. She's a good person, very knowledgeable and makes philosophy accessible. Very political and tends to teach courses that are controversial, which I enjoy. "Exams" are 500-word, at-home essays over anything covered in class; you choose the topics. Final (40% of your grade) is a 3000-word research paper.

Dadlez is an amazing woman and a great professor. The subjects that you talk about in class can seen boring or even a little hard to understand but, she'll help you out if you put in the effort. Allows 15 unexcused absences and gives study guides and review days. Also likes to watch movies and videos.

I really liked her at first. She was engaging and passionate, but as the semester progressed my opinion changed. I noticed her interrupting students and not letting them express their thoughts or opinions, unless it was the same as hers. If it's not her opinion or interpretation, it's wrong. Period. If you use her phraseology, you'll pass the class

LOVED HER! She is a very interesting and intelligent woman that wants to explore and expand your mind. This class was not difficult for me. She is very clear with what you will be tested on and lets you choose which essay question. You can even show her a rough draft and she can help you with it so you can do well on the test. TAKE HER!

This class was hard for many it is not a class you can cram for, there are only 4 grades the 4 tests which is a bit irritating. There are a lot of reading assignments but I never did them. Her attendance policy is pretty cool. She gives study guides. Memorize them. She gives the essay questions before the test, so write and memorize yours before it

Dr. Dadlez is an incredible woman. I took her for Contemporary Moral Problems and despite my class time being 8am, I never regretted coming to class. Each discussion is interesting & her passion for the subject was infectious. There are 4 tests & those are the ONLY grades for the class. So, study hard and study smart. Hint: read over your notes.

Very interesting. If you are afraid of academic challenges, or you are lazy do not take this class. If you want an A, you will have to really try. She is a fair grader, but she will call you out if you try to BS her. If you take the class and accept the criticism, you will be better at writing, arguing and thinking.

Very fun class! We really got to know each other and her. She's very excitable and loves to discuss things with the class. Prefers short papers to tests. 1010 would take again.

Attending class isn't necessary, but you should still go for the notes. I never used the book and still did well. She reviews before each test and gives you the test essays well in advance. You can even write a sample essay and email it to her for feedback on how to improve it for the exam. Can sometimes be repetitive, but overall a good professor.

I love Eva. She's a firecracker, totally passionate about her classes and ready to engage you in class. She appreciates when YOU put forth effort, so do it and have a good class. If you slack, she doesn't baby you. Class discussions are always awesome, and her super energetic personality is contagious. Don't skip, even though her classes are early.

Not a good teacher. She doesn't let you have any opinion that doesn't agree with hers. very hard grader on essays. Gives the opportunity to write an essay instead of taking the test.

I avoid her class when I can. Her favorites get A's. Sort of hard grader, really into herself.I think she feels the need to be rude because it makes her feel like she's being taken more seriously (as the only female prof in the PHIL dept). Not very clear imo, goes on tangents only slightly related to the material. Ends up confusing me. Good luck.

Very helpful and possibly one of the easiest graders in the department. She does expect you to know what you're talking about, but if you show up and take notes, that's not a problem at all. She is very energetic, interesting, and lively, and a really great prof.
