Excellent professor. Passionate about the material. Attendance was not part of the grade, but I always felt I got more out of the readings when I went to the class. Doesn't grade on participation either so the papers are everything. Start writing early and take your draft to office hours - make an appointment for this - she's very busy!

Had her for Tragic Mode. Awesome lady but TOUGH GRADER. Midterm was legit IMPOSSIBLE. Wouldn't even consider curving even though class average was like a 62. But Eve is hilarious and leads a super casual class. She's really fun, which is why it is surprising how tough a grader she is. If you put in decent effort in though you can do well.

Grading is obscene. Snatches points everywhere. She didn't give me any points on one section of a test that was short essay. Has favorites if you're not one you are screwed. If you take her write down every passage she says because she grades on knowing passages and who said it rather than main concepts. thinks shes a genius and funny. Not at all

NOT BAD teacher, just lots and lots of class notes, class is not boring..attendance is not mandatory, but she gives quizzes often but you'll see a pattern for the quizzes, so show up when you know there will be one.. tests are kind of hard, no midterm, no papers..shes hilarious, id say to take the class, shes interesting

tests ask arbitrary, specific questions and she dreams up "perfect answers" in her head. so if a question asks one thing, and you answer it, you will get partial credit because you didnt elaborate and include context, side facts, etc. very illogical sense of grading. first test took class by surprise bc she seems so easygoing but is a harsh grader.

yeah she can be real cool, and act like your friend, but the class is incredibly hard. the fact based exams are objective and quantitative, who needs that in an english class? no essays, identifying quotes? have to go to class or else you will miss quizzes. she may be a good teacher but the class is HARD and not what im looking for as a finance maj

Enjoyable class. She keeps things interesting and fun, and you learn a lot. The midterm and final are tough, and easy to mess up. Remember the details when studying for them. She takes things slow, and makes you appreciate Paradise Lost.
