He gives tedious homework assignments that are mainly graded for completion but sometimes he will randomly take points off. His exams are only a few questions which makes it hard to gain all the points to get good test grades. He is a nice man but is hard to understand and confuses himself often. MUST know how to use excel. Not the greatest prof

Allows exemption from final if you have a 95 after everything. Offers credit at end of semester which boosts your grade. Only Info281 professor that uses the computer. Need to understand how to use excel to pass this class.

His exams are very confusing so make sure you really know the stuff before your exams. He teaches how to do everything multiple times, so it is hard to screw most things up. But, he gives an extra credit assignment at the end of the semester that can bring your grade up a good amount.

Lots of online homework, unorganized lectures, and written homework. Tests are only 3 questions and weighted very heavily so they are hard and extremely easy to fail. He gives one extra credit opportunity. He is the nicest man alive though.

It's not hard to get an A, literally just go over the homework problems. I'm taking cost and intermediate accounting, and I still had time for this class. We had two pop quizzes (which he warned us about a class beforehand) and the formulas where on the whiteboard both times. Then he rounds up the quiz to the next higher letter grade.

DO NOT TAKE SALIMIAN. He is a horrible teacher that confuses his students. He is not a fair grader he only boost the grades of students that he likes. You ask him a question you will not get a straight answer at all. I regret taking his class. Honestly he should not be allowed to teach.

If you did well in Math 155 the class is an easy A. If you struggled in it, its a little more complicated. Prof. Salimian is a nice guy. Show up to class and participate and he will like you. He can be a bit confusing, but if you ask for help he will clarify it. Can be a bit arrogant at times. Make sure the work is done at the time of the test

I'd try to avoid his class if you can. Lectures every class, confusing homework assignments, difficult tests. The textbook helps you teach yourself the material. Even though I didn't miss one class, I really didn't learn anything from him.

This is essentially math 155, stat, all over again so if you had a clue of what was going on in that class you should be good. He's a nice guy, always answers questions in class, and emails back quickly. Tests and quizzes aren't that hard if you study and take practice exams!

Hes a nice guy, but very confusing. He makes the entire subject more difficult than it needs to be. I ended up teaching myself with the homework which he gives the answers. I think other teachers focus more on excel and he focuses on written formulas and working it out You cant get a straight answer from him when asked a question. take someone else

Pretty good professor. Funny without trying. He will show you how to do the additional assignments and take-home portion of the exams in class so pay attention. Fairly easy grader and does offer an optional extra credit paper if you want to boost your grade by at least two points.

Professor Salimian is a very sweet and down to earth teacher. All he expects is loyalty and attentiveness from his students. His tests are moderately hard but you need to do your homework regularly. He also has an extra credit at the end of the semester which is doable but competitive to get a good grade. I liked him :)

This class is not an easy A but its definitely possible. Honestly just study and do all the homework problems and you're golden. He can be confusing at times during the lecture but he is always willing to help. During the tests you are allowed a formula sheet. Also at the end he gives an extra credit project that REALLY helps boost your grade!

This guy is totally legit. Not "Easy" but fairly average work load with average difficulty requiring only a slight bit of effort. Work that needs to be done is clearly stated. Same with the readings. Cheat sheets with formulas on the tests. I would definitely take him again!

Great professor! His lectures follow the layout of the book, and his exams are very fair. If you study, use the note sheet he lets you use, and follow his study guide no reason you cant get that A. I will take him for any other INFO classes I am required to take.

Although his lecture is sometimes confusing he is always willing to help you. You get a 8.5x11 cheatsheet on all exams, and he posts all the homework solutions online. Lots of extra credit. If you are willing to study a little an A is very possible.
