I liked this class. I don't know why these reviews were so bad. This was the most chill, laid back class I've ever taken at SDSU. I've been playing guitar since 5 years before taking this class though, so I guess I had an advantage in knowing a lot of this stuff beforehand. Even so, I actually learned a lot and got turned onto Bossa Nova music.

she was not helpful. her tests were very confusing. and her teaching style made it difficult for students to retain the information being presented. forgetaboutit!!!!!!!

BORING CLASS.. I hated it. However if you put in effort to KNOW the study guide you will do fine on the tests. I didn't get that until the final where I got a 90% I got B's and low B's on the tests and ended up with an A-. However it was such a boring class only take if you have to! SHE also says UM way too much...
