Loved Dr. Johnson. The only thing I wish was that her syllabus and directions for papers were more clear. Lots of errors on her end but the class is totally worth taking! She was very kind and worked with me around my tough pregnancy and missed classes.

Dr. Florence was a sweet heart, I only wish she was more clear with grading and the syllabus. Sometimes, it felt like this class was a joke because of how simple it was to pass. I hoped to have gained a little more insight in urban schools and cultural foundations and race, but did not.

She's a really great professor. Very polite, caring, understanding and knowledgeable. She does use a syllabus however it is subject to change (go with the flow, nothing is completely set in stone). I had personal issues going on and she allowed me to submit two late assignments. As I ended up taking two classes of hers at the same time.

Aside from the syllabus continually changing, this class was fairly easy. I felt, however, that she did not like Caucasians. We received very little, if any, direct instruction from her and relied on groups for everything.

Dr. Johnson made this class almost impossible for me, and made me feel terrible about missing a couple sessions even though she assured me it would be fine. She requested extra work weeks after the term had ended and made it seem like I should have anticipated an extra assignment. Didn't learn much, though i guess some students did.

Professor Johnson was one of the best professors I've had. She knows a lot about urban education and is extremely nice. This class was an easy A. She even cancelled the final exam for us!

She is amazing. The projects were a lot of fun. She wants everyone to do well and is always available to help you succeed in whatever way she can. Amazing women with a lot to tell.
