Very intelligent man. Knows his stuff but does not teach in a very effective manner. Likes to hear himself talk. Not good at answering questions. Has a one-track mind and often cannot see things from a student's perspective. Better than all mktg professors (except Butler), but that doesn't say much. Not easy class but somewhat interesting.

the best teacher I have ever had at AU, but if you are looking for a real easy class this is not it. If you can not learn something from this class you are helpless. He has stimulated my thinking in and out of class way more than any other professor I have ever had.

I do not recommend taking this teacher. His tests are HORRIBLE. They are situational analysis. If you are looking for a teacher whose tests are mostly definitions.. then he is not the one to take. This is a principles class.. he acts like it is not.

Dr. Laumer is one of the nicest most helpful teachers I have had at AU. The class is not easy but if you read and go to class and really try, you will do well. He is always willing to help if you are struggling. Great professor!

i don't know why people say he's unorganized. he's anything but that. he's a great person and will do all he can to help you (w/ class or anything else). i learned a LOT in his class but i definitely studied. well worth the hard studying though. at least i feel like i got my money's worth.

I recommend following along with the book in class and highlighting what he puts up on the overhead b/c it's exactly the same. I don't know why people try to copy it all down. I didn't think I liked him when he taught BUSI 1010 & 2010, but I really enjoyed his class this semester.

The class is interesting, but he is kind-of mean. He will not curve and the test are hard. I feel like he thinks that he is better than everyone. I'm a marketing major and I think there are better ways to teach the info.
