She tries to teach you discipline in her own way i.e. shouting and being overly strict. midterm based on some online videos about Retail Math . doesn't even teach anything about it. Generally you don't even learn anything in this class. It's all guests coming over. There is coaching sessions with seniors for 7 weeks that literally was waste of time

She will nail anyone that opposes her, also got 0 feedback on any reasoning for my marks in class even when emailing her. Just go to class and don't give any reason for her to know which student you are.

She's okay. Class isn't hard, it's mainly group projects. She rarely teaches, it's mainly her TA and guest speakers. Gave us super hard projects but ended up marking so easy. Can be rude, but if you go to all the events she recommends and talk to her about it she'll like you. Didn't particularly like her I'd take again for the grade.

Absolutely awful. She gives unclear feedback and project outlines. She is extremely rude and insulting. If you have a difference in opinion do not mention it to her, as she will degrade you in front of the entire class. The best way to succeed in her class is to lay low. Don't give her any reason to know your name. Sit in class and be silent.

Hilarious only because her rating here is so high. Don't ask her simple questions, she is incredibly rude and will go out of her way to be rude to you to make you feel dumb-WITHOUT letting you finish your question. Keep away from her in class and you should be fine.

Expect to ask her personally or in emails for clarification for what she assigned. Not straight forward. Group project members are picked for you. Her enthusiasm can throw you off, as it is hard to tell when it is authentic or not. Regardless she is very knowledgeable in the retail field, great for external resources, and cares. Just confusing.

She may seem nice at first but DO NOT be fooled, she will not hesitate to humiliate you in class. She takes the class WAY too seriously and is overly obsessive about using your laptop or phones its annoying. LISTEN in lectures, she pulls 75% of test questions from random stuff she said ONCE in class. Its not hard if you linger on every word she say

This is my second time having Frances as my prof. Shes quite educated on the topics she teaches. Her class didn't have a textbook, but she clearly told us what would be on the midterm. Assignments are sometimes difficult to understand but she does clarify and help you through it. Follow her rubrics, easy A.

Really enthusiastic and tries to make lectures interesting but doesn't use textbooks so it's hard to study. Also assignmentstests are unclear so sometimes you think you're doing well but then you get your mark back. However, if you ask her for help she'll give it to you no problem. DON'T SKIP CLASS.

Extremely inconsistent at marking assignments. You do exactly what the assignment asks of you, and she'll give you a lower mark than you deserve. Yet other people who do less work and cut out things the assignment sheet CLEARLY asks you to do, get better marks! Seriously. Students compare their marking sheets. She needs to know this.

Honestly, I love her. I've had her before and I loved her then too. She loves what she's teaching, she likes the students and she helps you do everything as long as you ask her for help. She can be unclear but she'll explain if asked. She's also an easy marker, rarely docks marks for anything. Passionate and enthusiastic and lectures are quick!!

She seems nice, but treats her students like they?re morons. She?s also a little off or something, b/c she has tons of energy and constantly has something to say, yet she NEVER makes any sense. And yes, she definitely has her favourites, but it usually doesn?t make a difference grade wise, she just won?t be very friendly towards you in person.

Thought I was in Elementary School and not in the last year of Uni. Energetic prof., but for what!! writing reflections? snap out of it prof and learn to teach a university level course! We paid you $500+ not to write reflections!

I agree with the other comments that she is "fun", but a lot of the time this distracts from her teaching. Her assignments are never fully explained and this leads to confusion and marks that are lower than deserved. She's a nice person, but her class is so disorganized it gets ridiculous.
