Francesca is an awesome professor. Her class is really easy, but you learn a TON. All of what you learn is stuff you can use in future classrooms, regardless of age group. Lots of games and other fun activities. Group and solo project required, as well as three papers, but they're all pretty easy. I definitely recommend Francesca's class!

In all four years of attending GVSU, this class was my absolute favorite. Not only does it help you learn the finer points of storytelling, it also helps you feel more comfortable speaking in front of an audience (great for most jobs!). I had this as a three hour class on Monday nights and it NEVER dragged on. Energetic, fun, and creative. Take it!

If you are debating between the PED class or this for Education majors, take this!! Francesca is amazing and will give you so many great ideas to use in your classroom someday - for ANY subject! I loved going to class... games everday! Learned so so much and highly recommend it. Easy and so enjoyable! Favorite class in my 3 years of college!

I didn't know exactly what this class was going to be - and it ended up being "Let's play games every day" which, quite simply, rocks, because they never feel pointless - this is stuff you can REALLY use in the classroom. Francesca is awesome, funny, happy, a real sweetheart.

This class was awesome. If you have any stage fright what so ever, this class will put your stage fright behind you. I hated getting up in front of the class to do anything but Francesca helps put your fears behind you. It is a wonderful class and everything you do is hands on and will benefit you as a teacher in the long run. Highly recommend!

This is the best class ever! Everything you do in class will be something you will be able to use in your future classroom. Very hands on as well as a great welcoming and warm classroom atmosphere. No one in our class wanted this class to be done at the end of the semester! Something you will look forward to each day!
