Brilliant guy. Be prepared to write lots of class notes, but it's very helpful. Quizzes is pretty much based on what he taught in the class, so I would say attendance is mandatory, but worth it! Would recommend taking this class with Dr. Boabang instead of Christine, if possible, to make your life easier.

I took his classes 20 years ago, FOUR courses altogether at MBA. Extremely supportive. Very easy to approach. His doors were always open. You could ask as many questions in his office, borrow his books.

It takes a certain "je ne sais quoi" for a man to be able to recite some 20 pages or so of complex investment material per class - strictly by memory - while under the influence. Francis is a remarkable character with a great sense of humour, and an even greater mental capacity. I wonder if he played with Milton Bradley's "Simon" in his youth.
