By far the worst teacher I have had in my 4 years of college. wastes class time with stupid jokes and takes SO many shortcuts that nobody in the class can keep up. Go to office hours and it was obvious he didnt care, didnt want to help. good thing he's retiring soon!!

He's a tough professor, but you really come out of the class knowing a lot of finance if you put some effort. I would recommend having some background in finance before taking him. He is not very clear on his teaching many times, and may be hard to follow. His classes are very applied. You can't round numbers, but open book tests!

Not a great teaching style.....knows his stuff but doesnt always communicate well to new finance students. went to his office for help and he basically told me to "try harder" offering nothing else. thanks pal.

Wow is all I can say for having a great rating he sure is a terrible teacher. I think our average on the tests were a 30 and there's no curve! I'm getting a B but it's because I worked my everlovin butt off. So take him if you understand Finance if not take someone else!

Funny guy, but sometimes takes too many short cuts in his calculations, leaving the students lost, assuming they know everything. Occasional Pop Quizzes on material not yet covered! Tests are not as tough as he says they will be.

Not the best testing style...Usually 10 multiple choice questions, some are full length problems...an occasional surprise quiz or two, one or two take-homes...But lectures are interesting and I enjoyed the class overall.

Relates Finance to everyday life, and makes a subject that could be very difficult easier.
