Okay, everyone hating on Frank probably has never had Cap's other MATH profs. Frank is the most helpful out of ALL of Cap's math department in which he will FULLY EXPLAIN every step he does. Chris Morgan doesn't do that and will in fact criticize you for not knowing steps. Learn your mistakes from your first quiz with Frank and learn from it.

He's nice,good in the lectures and is helpful. However, he can be very unreasonable on tests. On my 1st 2 tests I got A's, because I COMPLETELY understood the questions. The problem comes when you don't know the questions entirely. If you get most of the question right, and do a slight error, he will give you 0 on a 4 mark question. Ridiculous!

Hes not a bad teacher, but tests are insanely difficult, and he marks very hard, I recommend Marsha, shes still a really tough teacher, but at least better than Frank.

Probably one of the most unreasonable teachers there is. Awful messy notes, 5 year olds write nicer than her does. Everyone in my class hated him. Tests are ridiculous, and marking is the worst of all. You will lose marks for anything. If you forget the units on a 7 mark question, he will give you 1 out of 7. Whole CapU Math department is garbage.

his lectures are inaudible. he will mark you wrong if the work shown on tests is not the same as his answer key. makes fun of students and the way they answer questions. he is very old so makes a lot of mistakes during lectures and marking. say goodbye to getting an A.

What he goes over in class is what he will test you on. Study the notes, redo the booklet and do the practice tests. He makes mistakes and makes questionable comments but is a genuinely nice guy and if you go to him for one-on-one help he is much nicer. Do what he says to succeed in his class and you will succeed in his class, funny how it works

I loved my time at cap but to be honest the whole math department is garbage. Especially frank. Once I moved on to SFU I was shocked just how much better the math program was. Much better teachers, much better atmosphere and an all around better program. My advice is to not bother taking math at cap, just wait until you transfer.

He is nice. Genuinely wants everyone to exceed in that class. He is clear as to what errors causes mark deductions. The booklet he gave was so helpful! I like how we get to try some examples but I don't like how he comments on whether you got the answer or not... It's just a bit embarrassing if you didnt get the answer right!

He was clear, but his class made little exception for anyone not understanding directly what he was saying. Read the chapter beforehand ( like the intro booklet says ) do the questions, ( likewise ) and ravage the ridiculous amount of practise questions as you need and you'll do fine. If you're a weaker student the MLC is always available...

Very high expectations, not a "nice guy". He lightened up after a discussion about his tests being unnecessarily hard and the class average went up. Genuinely wants students to succeed and goes to bat against the admin for us, but is too jaded and marks too hard.

I think he is a great teacher! He is very clear on his expectations and provides his students with the tools needed to succeed, from there how well you do is up to you. You need to work hard and definitely go to every class.

Dont bother taking a class with him, he is extremely rude to students with extremely hard tests and messy, poorly presented examples. He enjoys taking marks off of exams and seeing people do poorly. I passed, but understood little so i took all my calc at SFU and it was WORLDS better. Better teachers, better atmosphere.

He isn't a bad teacher.. I just think hes getting old. Sometimes he forgets about things and makes simple mistakes in his examples.. His midterm was pretty hard but if you do well in his weekly test, you'll be fine.
