I highly recommend taking Minor for any English course. For online, you have a reading each week along with one discussion which is basically your grade. There are no quizzes and only 2 test (midterm/final). Both test can be taken at home at anytime. Take him in-class or online if possible!

This professor really made English interesting for me. I always looked forward to this class. It never stressed me out (w the exception of one research paper but can you ever really get away from those). Hes easy and fun and cool. Show up and contribute to conversations. Take him.

He's an awesome teacher. I met with him in person at the beginning of the semester and he was extremely nice. There are lots of readings due each week, but it's not too bad. There was only 1 paper to write. The discussion post are majority of your grade! Take him if possible!

This class' grade is almost completely composed of essay grades. Grammar will take you far in either a good or bad direction. An average class consists of interesting conversation topics and short (1-3 pg) reading assignments. If you're a good writer and don't mind 10 pages of interesting reading topics per week, he's the professor for you.

Minor is a great professor. For American Lit 2 all we did was read the stories on the syllabus and discuss them in class. The discussions help you remember important points for the tests so it's smart to participate or at least pay attention during the discussions. 4 tests and one short essay easy class. The textbooks are necessary!

A pretty easy class. If your a reader you'll love it but if your not youtube & google will be your bff if your not a reader. I would of made an A out of the class if his direction to the midterm was clear. midterm & final have the same directions to them & both were allowed to be taken from home. FYI theres a discussion post like every week.

I can not stress this enough, he is a wonderful teacher. Truly cares about his subject, and wants to see the students grow. The feedback he gives is very helpful and I will be able to use past papers to refresh my memory when I take English 1102. The reading assignment are important, and will play a key role in most of the essay you write.

The first half of the semester is nothing but reading essays out of the Norton reader and going over questions as a class. He grades pretty easy. I haven't made lower than a 87 on an essay so far. All the essays aren't any longer than 600 words. There are a a lot of short essays assigned and due during the same class. He's a VERY easy professor!!

Would take Mr. Minor again. He is a pretty hard grader on your papers but is willing to let you revise it. You need to read his reading assignments in the textbook. Paper assignments aren't hard and if you really try on them, you get easy A's.

He is lenient with grading test and In-class essays. Anyone nervous about writing needs to take his class. He's teachers thorough and will learn a lots from him. I wasn't the best student in this class, missed a lot because of family things going on....but Frank Minor is a great teacher, he cares about his students and wants them to succeed. His tests in english 1 are easy, if you just read the essay's you'll do good on tests. He also lets you revise papers if you make a really bad grade. Awesome teacher!

I loved this class! He is very helpful and he really seems to care about his students. He isn't too easy or too difficult. He gives topics that are fun to write about and get you thinking. The readings and writings were not boring.
