He does have poor writing but so bad that it can't be read. Clear and humorous, he likes to regale the class with amusing anecdotes. Doesn't suffer fools but has a zen-like demeanor. For MAT309 if you are smart or decent at math the course is of average difficulty; otherwise don't bother. He does not have an Italian accent.
