Comment:

Dr. Decasperis is a nice guy but his lectures are the most boring things in the world. Not only will you be trying not to fall asleep but he will go on tangents that have no meaning what so ever to the course. The tests are not anything that was covered in class and he grades hard on everything he does except the 10-min presentation you have to do.

Comment:

DeCasperis is old but nice and cares about his students. Only 2 exams, no midterm or final. Exams are hard, it is all from the textbook and he doesnt touch on it. While taking the exam it will feel like you didnt learn any of it, because you didnt. He goes on rants that you cannot follow. He forgets EVERYTHING and knows none of his students names.

Great guy. Older, but has so much to say. Talks about his kids a lot which is cute, but could annoy some people. Two tests, no midterm or final. Expect stuff on the exams to be from the textbook that you don't remember reading, so if I would do it again, I would read a little more, but overall easy class and a nice guy

Hes a good professor, just talks ALOT. Hard to listen to when its 8am and an hour and a half of class. He is a great guy and is willing to help if needed. I would take him again, he just talks 99% of the time, which to me made it difficult to learn a lot.

Dr. DecCasperis is an ok professor. He knows the subject well. He comes across as chill until it comes to assignments. The work seems easy, but he is picky about every little thing. If you miss like two classes he flips out. He never cancels class. Do your work on time to his standards and you'll do fine. It's easy to get a B+ with little effort.

Decasperis was my first college professor ever and honestly i thought he was great. I enjoyed his class greatly and he was a great guy. He still says hi to me every time he sees me. He is easy to talk to and if you do your work you will do fine. He is a bit of a harsh grader but that's my only complaint.

Dr. Decasperis was a good professor. The persuasive unit was a lot of fun, but that's about the only interactive thing we did all semester. He needs to have a more clear, defined grading system. He doesn't hand out A's; you have to work for it. He also spends more time sharing personal stories than actually teaching which can get irritating quick.

Dr. D is by far the best professor i have had here at Siena. He really cares about you as a person and you as a student. He does not assign much work, only about 3 simple assignments. if you do those and study hard for the tests, it is an easy A. If you dont, youll be on his bad side; and he does not hide that at all.

Dr. DeCasperis is a pretty cool guy. He is generally nice unless you don't do the homework (which is a total of about 4 simple assignments). Minus the 7-10 minute speech on a topic of your choice the class is pretty laid back. Make sure to study for test but they aren't incredibly difficult.

There are 2 tests that you need to make sure you study good off of the review sheet he gives you and you have a reseach paper with a 5 min. powerpoint presentation on a leader topic of your choice. Overall, nice guy and teaches everything about leadership and you do learn from his lectures and examples!! :-)

For leadership class it was interesting. There are a few group activities to keep the class interesting. He gives you powerpoint copies of all of the slides for the chapters so it is easy to be focused on what is important to know for the tests and he gives a review sheet for the tests so STUDY GOOD WHATS ON THERE AND YOU WILL DO GOOD ON THE TESTS!

DeCasperis was a great teacher and I would highly recommend him. I had his class for 8:30 Tuesday/Thursday but I was able to get up for it because it was so interesting. Defenitely take him if possible...there's a reason why he is taken first out of all the teachers on web for students!

He's a really good professor! Easy, straight foreword class. Doesn't assign much homework, just one big (easy) speech presentation and a few short papers. I would take him again or for any other MKMG classes. Highly recommend!!
