GREAT teacher and even a better guy. Never skipped a class. Very fair. Funny guy in class. Not a fan of religion and I was shocked how much I enjoyed/learned from the class. TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM!!!

Best Professor I've had here at Holy Cross. If i could take every course with him i would. i was not looking forward to a religion course, but it turned out to be my favorite class so far. tests are kind of difficult, but he is really helpful, and a very fair grader. awesome guy.

He is probably one of the most smartest and knowledgable professors at HC. He's a great teacher and very funny at times, but he is definitely not an easy A. Although my grade could've been much better than what it turned out, I enjoyed his class. Great guy, he is just challenging and will assign "maaadd" reading. Grade depends on your effort.

His class gets so boring towards the end he uses a book he calls collins which is horrible. Very Old School Teacher expects a lot of work and you to do it all on your own. A lot fomaterial not covered in class. Nice guy but don't take him unless you don't care about way too much almost impossible amounts of reading and hard tests.

I heart Murphy. He is the best prof. in the entire world. Everyone should take his classes. A lot of the times talking about sports will take up a good 15 minutes of class. Entertaining and a genious.
