I recommend taking her online course. It is not self-paced, but I barely know Spanish and got an A in the class. She communicates fast and she is helpful. She is better than her ratings on here when it comes to taking her online. I would take her again if I could for Spanish 3.

She lectures throughout the entire class in spanish without writing anything down so you're likely to fall asleep. She is also known for interrupting your presentation if something is wrong and making sure the whole class knows it. You probably won't learn anything from her. You need to study by yourself

Took her twice for beginning Spanish then intermediate Spanish. Very intensive homework and you have to actively work on it to pass. She communicates fast and well. Be prepared to work and you'll do fine.

I was not happy with Goussak. I had to learn the Spanish 2 course material on my own. Once asking for help, her response was "study harder"!!! What type of help is that? Never taking any of her classes again. I refuse. But I passed with a B! Thanks to me LOL

STAY AWAY FROM ONLINE COURSE!!!! Unless this is the only class you are taking all semester do not take this class! This class required more time than my university classes combined and ended up having to drop the class. Total waste of money! Also she expects you to know at of Spanish to begin with. Spanish from high school is not enough.

DO NOT TAKE HER ONLINE COURSE!!! Unreal amount of HW. She gives 5 HW assignments that are estimated to take 14 hrs long and you only have a week to finish it, maybe less. She has other HW on there that takes 6 hrs to complete. If you do not know anything about Spanish, do not take her. This is not for beginners, even though its suppose to be.R.I.P

She is very confusing on what she expects and what we talked about in class had nothing to do with the tests. She can be disrespectful to students. Every week she would take class time to fight with students about something in front of the class and it took away from me learning the language. She was like my high school teachers. Don't recommend.

Professor Goussak is an amazing professor! I have never met someone so passionate about their job. She really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She has a very bubbly, happy personality and is a joy to be around. She gives many assignments so her students will be well prepared. However, the tests are very difficult.

She is a nice person, but I understood little to nothing of the course. She expects every bit of her lectures to be retained by all students, and teaches and quizzes on material that is not covered in the textbook. She expects students to study over holidays and gave a quiz right after thanksgiving break. its an incomprehensible and difficult class

Always be on time she takes it personal if your not and will attempt to shame you at every given opportunity for being such. She is very attentive to pronunciation and aggressive about her teaching style so prepare yourself for a very different way of learning if your not used to up in your face teaching, literally

this was my first time taking Spanish, i had no background of Spanish what so ever, i didn't like her teaching at all! she wasn't helpful! and wasn't direct! i felt so left out in the class and didn't understand anything, i eventually had to drop the class because i didn't understand anything. just a waste of my time! don't take this professor!

Profesora Goussak knows Spanish really well and she makes learning fun! She genuinely wants her students to succeed and knows that it will take hard work. She is good at explaining and demonstrating new concepts but requires a lot of student participation.

She is a nice lady, if you are on her favorites side. She DOES NOT explain anything to you. Even if you ask her, she does give you a clear answer. She lectures her whole class. She is very relaxed when it comes to missing tests but I could not learn anything.

This is by far the worst professor I have ever had. I took Spanish for four years and this is a beginning Spanish 1 class, but I still struggled. She is from Ukraine and her accents clash. DO NOT TAKE HER COURSE. She is rude, does not answer questions, snaps at you if you get something slightly incorrect, AND she can't speak correct English!

I loved her. SHe made class so much fun, and the whole class became friends and the last day of class was bittersweet. Its a lot of work but if u have a passion for Spanish you will definitely get an A. Best Professor!!!

When my classmates and I started asking questions on the online textbook assignments she would get almost irritated ESPECIALLY to one she did not know the answer to. She spent an entire class talking about how good of a teacher she was once and to give her a chance. Well I did and really wish I hadnt. She is the worst proffessor ive ever had.

LOVE PROFESORA GOUSSAK! One of the best profs I've ever had. Super passionate, high energy, makes learning fun. Loves her students and genuinely wants them to succeed. Learning a new language is never easy, but she makes you WANT to learn. Take her lecture if you can get in to it. Only has one Spanish II lecture. Had to battle to get in to it.
