Comment:

One of the easiest classes I've taken. She is hard to understand, mumbles, and doesn't seem very interested in helping students or doing more than the minimum. She lets you have a cheat sheet for all exams with whatever you lie written on it. Class was easy but she's not my favorite teacher. Only take with her if you learn well on your own.

Comment:

She is somewhat hard to understand both because she has a eastern European accent and because she mumbles a lot. She is generous enough to give students a practice midterm/exam before every midterm/exam and a double sided cheat sheet with whatever you want on it. Only take her class if you want to teach yourself the majority of the material

Honestly, if you cannot get an A in this class you're not fit for college let alone engineering. EASIEST CLASS EVER. You're allowed a cheat sheet and the sample midterm is the exact same thing as the actual midterm with different numbers. EASY A!

Fusun Ozguner's class is not extremely challenging. If one attends class regularly and completes the homework assignments, one can expect to perform well on the exams and quizzes. She also allows students to use notes on the midterms and final as well.

Her class is unbelievably easy. Show up, take down the examples, do the homework (exactly like the examples) and pass with an A. Also she was really nice to me, we had a project that required us to download a program, I had some issues installing the application and she gave me an extension so I could get it done. She taught an easy low level class

She was really disorganized. I went to her office hours right before a test and she was literally making it right then with crap scattered all over her desk. The course material was like going through the Lost Woods and going in circles. Because of this, people moaned,BUT the material was a joke, and she's actually really nice if you talk to her

Horrible teacher. Lost my assignment. Hard time understanding what the hell book was saying, and she was horrible herself. Forget the teacher, and try to take it when someone else takes over her job as a professor. Impossible.

Maintains a terrible syllabus which is rarely followed, often ignored, and changed frequently. This makes assignments difficult and preparing for quizzes impossible.

Just go to class, pay attention you will get an A. She's pretty friendly and overall a pretty good teacher. The examples she does in class are EXACTLY like her tests, no surprises. Very fair with grading. The book is unclear a lot of times so it makes the homeworks hard if she hasn't covered the stuff yet but she hardly ever collects it.

if you pay attention in class, the examples she does are exactly like her tests. Really easy, ididnt have to read the book at all. I was afraid seeing how bad her ratings were, but i have to say she was an awesome teacher

My class notes are filled with references to the book. (ie "See table 4-1") This is because she freqently puts diagrams from book on overhead projector and talks about them in class. A little bit unclear. Not horrible, but not highly recommended either. Wish I had taken with Orin.

We're about 2/3's through the quarter, and so far only 1 homework assignment has been collected (although 4 or 5 have been assigned). She's too lazy to state exactly which problems to do so she just assigns an entire chapters worth. Seems like she's talking to herself when she lectures. Completely disorganized. Should have been an easy class.
