Comment:

Some of my fondest memories at Nipissing can be attributed to Dr. Olsen. I'm at grad school now and I count my lucky stars that G.W. exposed me to so many interesting ideas and historians. I employ many of his techniques, including clear outlines and engaging stories. This guy is one of a kind and he is very much missed at Nip.

Dr. Olsen, is an outstanding professor. I enjoyed each and every course I took from him. I am in graduate school now. I have read some of the negative reviews, I think many of them may have come from students who should not have gone to university in the first place. Big Jake's School of Trucking would be better for these cement heads, lol.

I agree his lectures were odd and strangely we did learn in them. I loved his and Inge's classroom antics. He was extremely accomodating with late assignments. I learned more in making the course paper than any other before or since.
