I took the class this summer, enjoyed the class discussions and loved the class atmosphere. Dr. Semaan is very kind, helpful and generously shared food and candy with us. I say he bakes as well as he teaches. Highly recommend his class.

Great class and prof. He cares and is very kind, nice and understanding. Sometimes the class was my therapy sessions in a stressful semester. Would take again and surely recommend. Clear and straightforward class and grading.

Dr. Gaby is the most understanding and kind professor I ever had. He is very personable and I felt that he genuinely care about me and my classmates as individuals. He got to know us by name rather quickly and remembered deatials that we said about us which to me shows an authentic human. He is down to earth and always treat us with dignity.

Very fun professor, very helpful and kind. He is very patient too. Looked forward to his class, we always tried something from the culture. I learned a lot in the class. I LOVED that he made us use articles rather than an expensive textbook. I will take more classes with him.

Dr. Semaan is very kind, caring and understanding. He is fair, rather generous, in grading and seems to care more that you learned something. He is understanding and took our input into consideration. He was very nice and regularly brought goodies, even got us coffee one class.

I enjoyed the class. Very practical information and the prof knows his stuff. Cool prof & very helpful & available to help when I had questions about the final paper. It took him some time to get to posting all the grades online, however, I don't care about that beacause he returned the graded quizzes promptly, so online grading didn't matter. 3

Great professor. He was very caring, understanding and accommodating. He went out of his way to make the class engaging, fun and educational. Sometimes I felt more immersed in the culture because of his teaching style. Definitely will take again and recommend.

One of my favorite professors. The class is cool and so is the class environment. You will need to read every reading, power point presentations and sample tests are posted for every chapter on blackboard. His class formula is simple, read, attend and use the resources he provides and you will pass. I learned many things for real life.

He's a really nice guy, but in all honestly, don't take his classes. For my class, we did nothing to earn points the entire semester, except attendance. So towards the end of the semester, he gave us multiple projects and he moved up the final all so we can earn the needed points. Nice guy, but not the best at organization and updating grades.
