Gail is one of the most inspiring professor I ever had at JMSB. She knows financial reporting (ASPE and IFRS) at the tip of her fingers. I definitely recommend this teacher for ACCO 420 as she makes the class very easy to understand. (especially for those considering CPA school after)

An excellent prof who knows her stuff! Gail is hands down the best prof I've taken in my 5 years at JMSB! Go to class and hang on her every word, for they are gold! The class itself is pretty difficult and you should try and stay on top of the week-to-week work! only criticism is the textbook's answers are really unclear and really need updating!

Gail is one of the best professors at JMSB For one of the toughest ACCOs she explains crystal clear she gives good feedback and her exams are super fair She knows what she's taking about and she solves problems in class Also she gives cases instead of quizzes which are quite challenging but worth your time Take her you won't regret

Comment:
50% of the grade is group work but it's really unclear what you actually have to do for each thing handed in, even after questions. Grading criteria for group work is unclear too, the grade feels random though generous. Strongly advise reading the book for exams, she gets confused and explains things wrong. Look out for mistakes in the book too.

Best teacher I have ever had! She explains the concepts very well! Her exams are hard, but mostly because of the cases. Final is harder than the mid-term. You need to practice!!!!

This is the hardest accounting course at Concordia. Gail is an excellent teacher and explains very well. However, the material is very difficult, and the exams are impossibly long. A lot of students repeat this course. Acco 420 will inevitably eat up most of your time, and will sink your GPA, but you will feel as though you learned something.

Bought an extra book for this one's class - she commented that I probably wouldn't understand it. She was right. One of the most driven teachers at Concordia I remember: BIG BRAIN. And, a hotty the last time I saw her. Koodos on what you did for the CA Program Gail, by yourself?

I took her course advanced accounting course in the Summer 1985. Best teacher I ever had and the best course I ever followed. I did very well at the mid-term as I had the second highest mark with 73 and the highest was 80. The class average for the mid-term was very low if not a failing one. By taking this course alone I was able to give 100%.
