Comment:

Perhaps she is different during the Fall & Spring semesters, but I took her Poetry class over the summer and it was great. We analyzed poems, wrote 3 (2-4 pg) papers, and a sonnet. There was no midterm and final. She is a really nice woman with a passion for poetry. I would definitely take her again. A highly recommended professor, for sure.

MY GOD, it was hard to stay awake. Somewhat easy class, poetry you can bs anyway. quizzes are easy, open book for everything. Tough paper grader. If you participate a lot, she'll like you. Not a horrible class, its manageable.

Not recommended. Few assignments ( so they're worth a ton) and ridiculously slow pace- note, I didn't say she's thorough, I said SLOW. You've enough time to knit a sweater, get a drink, and make a sandwich in the time it takes her to discuss a paragraph.

I took Dr. S three times in undergraduate, because she was wonderful. She made me interested in a subject areas I was not even interested in. Iloved her
