Just make sure you complete everything and if there is any maintenance on Canvas and you have a hard time getting the class course to pop back up resulting in having to miss assignments, she will penalize you and make sure you complete Inquisitive homework the first day its assigned

I was clueless throughout the semester, not about the material, of course, since you had to learn on your own. But clueless about what she expected of us, she wasn't very clear as to what she wanted. She didn't follow her own syllabus. She replies to emails DAYS later. She opens up assignments LAST minute and expects them to be done. (online class)

The material was almost useless for assignments & exams. No amount of studying or preparation was helpful for the exams which make up most of your grade with 1 minute per question. Unclear instructions, no schedule on syllabus, & would unlock assignments late during the middle of the week. I'm used to working for a grade but this was unreasonable.

I took her online, I do not have a lot of learning needs so I found her quite easy. The first couple weeks are challenging just for remembering to do things & learning to do her work. Shes clear in what she wants, I say she expects the absolute minimum. I recommend taking her online only. EASY A, I earned a 87 and she rounded. Hard to contact tho.

I'm sure this lady is nice in person but she should not be teaching online. She doesn't respond to emails so there is no way to get in touch with her if you are struggling. Also, she is very observant of "cheaters", I say that because during exams, she checks to see if you left the exam and accuses you. It's just that point in the semester, I done.

This professor NEVER accommodates my DSPS time necessary for exams. I always have to remind her because she forgets. I've been reaching out about Exam 3, and five times just today, with zero acknowledgement. This woman can literally decide my fate of graduation if I don't pass the course, and this is the treatment I get? Absolutely appalling.

Taking Soc 201 online, and have found Professor White doesn't respond to any emails, ever. She put instructions on the syllabus as to how to address an email subject to her, and from what email too correspond with her, and it's complete crickets. I literally have copied and pasted my email 3 times and nothing. With this I should just pay for my AA.

There wasn't much structure to her online canvas modules, which makes it seem like she's a little unorganized and all over the place. She appears to be an easy grader, but will deduct points here and there without specifying why. It was a fairly easy Winter online course, but if you're not much of a reader, I wouldn't recommend taking it.

Took this professor twice once in class and another online. In class she is awesome very funny and helpful, her lectures are very helpful and you do not need the book in class. Online is a different story. She is forgetful but still very nice and her class is easy. Follow her syllabus and homework assignments and you will be fine.

Super easy online class. If you read the chapters you will be just fine. She does not respond quickly to emails, appears to be unorganized, but was fairly nice.

I've taken White twice, once in person and recently this spring 2017 online. I thought she was easy both ways but I prefer online because her course runs on a routine every week; 1 discussion board, 1 quiz on chapter (10 questions) and every three weeks there's an exam (total of 4) but drops lowest test score on quiz and exam. She want you to pass!

If sociology is your major, I would suggest taking this class with a different professor. This was an easy class but some of the assignments were pointless and I didn't learn a thing. She is very unorganized, never has a set plan for the class time, and rambles on about random topics. Very unstructured class.

I've had taken soc 101, and marriage and family relations online with this professor. I dont get why everyone is complaining. she is a easy grader, you can submit assignments late with no points off. she may post late or not respond to emails but what she asks for is STRAIGHT FORWARD. she also gives extra credit as well. shes an easy A

It is a very straight forward class but assignments are usually released late and does not provide feedback or respond to emails. This is the second time I have had her and it seemed she was doing slightly better at first, but after a few weeks in she returned to the same habits.

Easy online class. The class feels like it doesn't have a professor, because the work can be generic, and no feedback is given for improvement on classwork. It's also frustrating how it's an online class, but the professor doesn't respond to emails.

I was very frustrated taking Professor Whites online class. She does not keep you informed or post the weeks assignments until at least a day or two late - which is a pain when the class is only 6 weeks long and you are trying to keep on top of it!

She doesn't respond to emails well. Her class was super easy though. I took it online I would recommend everyone to take her if you could learn by yourself. Everything is on Pearson and blackboard. Exams and homework are easy.

Dr. White is pretty bad at communicating. She doesn't respond to emails well and don't even try and call her office, you won't even be able to leave a voicemail. The only way I was able to get her to get back to me was through the Sociology Departments Secretary/Admin.

She wasn't a hard grader! Her quizzes and tests were all online, and if you didn't show up for lecture she didn't mark you down for that. Just make sure you interact with her! I sat in the front and she passed me with a B even though I struggled on a few of her tests. We only wrote one paper, and she gave everyone extra credit at the end.
