You work together as a class. You are not able to work ahead. You are required to post discussions 3 out of 7 days. He's very clear with criteria. He will post difficult questions and make you work each week. Participation is a must! The textbook is free and online. He also posts videos to help the subject for the week.

Good Professor, discussion boards are challenging and interactive, class is structured well and professor is on top of everything. However, the textbook for the class was written by the professor himself. Some parts in the book I found very difficult to understand; he wrote the book like a lawyer instead of like a teacher.

Professor Brand is awesome! He is on top of things, grades right away, challenges students on the discussion boards, and has a great sense of humor. Tests, quizzes, and essays are open book, and with a little studying you'll do fine. Participation is 20%, so make sure to participate 3/7 days! Overall, I loved his class.

He is a very good teacher, he keeps the class very interesting with his great humor. A free online textbook which is also a plus. Grades right away and is on top of everything. Very good at communication outside of class. Really enjoyed the class overall.

Good guy and very clear on what needs to get done. Was not a fan of the "flipped" class style, but thats just me. Brand is a great instructor, emails back and helps if needed. He is or was an attorney, so he knows his stuff. Very funny. Some people struggled, but I swear many students do not take school seriously at all. I would take again for sure

His stories are hilarious, even if they are not true. Really helps you understand how to apply the law. There will be a couple group discussions but the class is really easy. All the tests, quizes, and essays are online and open book. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great teacher for the online class. Participation is a must because you have to post at least 3 days out of the 7 and that continual for the semester. Participation is worth 20% of your total grade. 4 quizzes and 4 Essays, everything is open books. He gives great feedback and quick responses. He also uploads videos to Youtube for the chapters.

This best instructor I have had for an online class. He regularly participated in discussions. Gave feedback and questions that would draw more from the student. If you read along with the book, and actually pay attention to the outline lecture he posts every week, it's not a difficult class. But you must participate to do well. Great instructor!

Wonderful teacher! I wish I would have found him sooner because I would have taken all his classes. The class is easy if you pay attention and do your work. All tests are open book, open note so taking notes is very helpful. All his lectures are on youtube, just in case you miss a class!

This professor is very good at explaining concepts and uses good examples. All lectures are pre-recorded on youtube. Class is open book but that does not make it easy, you must pick apart every detail of the book and his youtube lectures to come to the correct answers. Hes pretty funny and I thoroughly enjoyed his class. Highly recommended

This guy is hilarious! His mock cases are always super funny. He's generally pretty laid back, but can be nitpicky at times. A lot of team discussions which are actually very helpful. Pay attention and you'll get a good grade.

Although the online quizzes were easy and no time limit, the discussion board is quite hard for a person that isn't a business major. The book helped half of the stuff he teaches. Never take it online AND in the summer in 7 weeks. I tried to stay positive, but I noticed he was nitpicky with some of my peer's replies.
