Dr. Smith is a great professor. I took him for World Regional Geography. Weekly discussion posts and quizzes. The quizzes are a bit challenging, but he drops the lowest. Three very simple papers (about you and how you study). This class was interesting and taught me more about our world. I am happy I took the class and I'm glad I took it with him.

His class is not as easy as you might think it's going to be but he makes sure that you learn your material that you need to pass the class.

Prof Smith is AMAZING. Dont be intimidated by the 10 page paper, he wants you to do well and will help you along the way. His tests are the only tricky things because you really need to listen during class and take good notes. Some of the questions are things you wouldn't think are important. But just read the book and take notes, and youre fine!

I took his class as a Maymester, and let me tell you - it was the easiest class I've ever taken! I made a LEGITIMATE 100. For the Maymester, you have a quiz (T/F) on a powerpoint, daily readings and discussions (300 words), and a 300 word conclusion post. Super, super easy as long as you FOLLOW HIS PROPTS AND RUBRIC!! Great class and easy A.

Professor Smith was a very great instructor! I took him online for Cultural Geography and there was no need of a text book, just weekly article readings that he provides. There a discussion post each week and also a quiz to go along with the power point. The final is a 10 page essay (which you shouldn't wait last minute to do). Overall very easy A!

The only real work is the final 10 page paper (which he gives you ample time to write!) the rest of the class is SUPER easy. Every week you focus on a new/different aspect of cultural geography, and all you have to do is an easy quiz (solely based on powerpoint) and write up a short post and respond to another student's post. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Dr. Smith is a fantastic professor! He has a lot of knowledge about Geography and is always willing to help. He requires a lot of reading and expects you to answer questions about the reading in class. The discussion questions are always answered in groups though which makes it less stressful. Overall, I would highly recommend taking Dr. Smith!

He is pretty smug. He does not give direct answers to any question (almost as if it is beneath him). I must admit he is a fair grader. If you work for it you will be rewarded. Test are hard, only because he ask questions that a normal person wouldn't think twice about. The paper is ok. It is a decent class, a "B" is easy, a "A" is difficult.

I have taken his Maymester class and it is intense. Start off strong by reading through the textbook before you take the class. He is intense however, if you read daily, complete the daily assignments and focus you should earn at the least a B in his class.

Cultuural Geography is a great deal of material to learn over the summer. You are expected to memorize chapters in a few days with timed tests that don't allow you any time to look up answers. Very difficult class for the summer. Tough tests and tough grading. For maymester, expect to read 2 chapters 1 night with a test on it the next. Impossi

This is a tough class for maymester. So much memorizing in a short time period and the tests are impossible. You have to memorize 40 pages each night. Don't doo it.

I have taken him online and in the physical classroom. Take him Online, but I can't recommend him for a physical class. The quizzes are in group format and you are only given a few minutes to complete them. The midterm was hard, really hard. You have to take notes, read and study to do well on the midterm!

Great class. Online Maymester. Simple, straight-forward. Discussion Posts and Quizzes for each chapter. Being a 2 week course, there was no final exam or project. Easiest A of my life and interesting content.

Take him if you can! He is very kind and helpful. I've taken him for two other classes as well. His format is pretty much the same. Weekly quiz and discussion post. 10-page research paper. (I got a 95!) If you keep up with the weekly assignments and the research paper, you'll make an A!

Easy, easy class. The only bad part was the 10 page research paper ( I made a 92!) but he gives you 5 weeks to work on it and doesn't assign anything else for those weeks. The modules go quickly post a simple discussion board post and a reply and you get an A. The quizzes can be tough but read and listen to the lecture and you'll be okay!

The class is filled with redundant material that you cover in anthropology and sociology classes. This professor doesn't care about the content of your work, just the word count. He's condescending and rude. Probably one of the worse teachers and classes I've ever had.
