This was quite possibly the best class I've taken at Riddle. While Gear can be unclear at times and does not follow an extremely organized syllabus, he really taylors the class to not only the student's progress, but even their ideas he fits into the class. A truly amazing class.

Makes up lectures on the fly and tests two hours before they begin. Lab was easy, as long as you said something in your lab report, you get 7/10 and an 80 is an A. All around good, helpful guy, but with some crazy stories.

Comment:

Style of classes makes it very easy to avoid learning anything, if you're so inclined. Gear is an intelligent, helpful guy, who will teach you a lot if you want to learn. I think a lot of people miss his message amidst the rants and songs.

Unorganized, MS freak, tricks students into thinking they learned something by giving out A's for nothing. A terrible programmer with some gnarly ideas. He is one of the [two] reasons why CS sucks so bad at ERAU Prescott. Damn.
