Comment:

No one wants their students success more than Dr. Lange. Tests are hard with several "2 of the above are correct" and "all of the above" answers to questions, but he typically gives a generous curve. He is very educated on the subject and a very friendly guy all around. Definitely take him if given the chance, he makes a tough class more reasonable

Comment:

Dr. Lange is a brilliant lecture professor. Exams were very difficult but he gives lots of extra credit which will help. Pay attention to what he says in class and not just the powerpoints. Gives very clear study guides for each exam as well.

If you have the chance to take Dr. Lange, do it. You will learn more than a powerpoint could ever tell you, in a simplistic and non-overwehlming way. He loves to make himself laugh and can make lectures really interesting. Make sure you take notes on everything he says because it will be on the exam(he talks at a reasonable pace). He curves(:

Comment:

Professor Lange is an amazing person! He really cares about his students doing well. He looks over every test after he gives it to make sure questions are fair and he gives bonus points for questions that seemed a bit unreasonable, or if we didn't really go over the material. Every test had ten extra point He teaches in an easy to understand way.

Comment:

Hes a really good guy and his teaching makes it easy to follow. Tests are extremely hard, but theres a 10% curve usually. This class also was in the summer so it was faster paced. Anatomy is hard in general but he is a great professor for it. Theres 4 exams and a final with some online homework for each section.

Dr. Lange is very disorganized which can be frustrating at times. He is awful at responding to emails and could potentially lose some of your papers if he forgets. However, he is incredibly passionate about Developmental Bio and he makes the class interesting. He also curves the exams so "we won't be too stressed".

I loved his class. The exams were very straightforward and he specifically pointed out what areas to study. The lab was fun and the lab exams were very easy. The one thing I disliked was that he did not go over the tests after they were graded which would've been helpful. Otherwise he's a great teacher.

Dr. Lange didn't hand out grades, he wanted you to learn past the idea of simple memorization. His lectures are very interesting, and he really enjoys his job. He makes you work for your grade BUT I would take him again over someone who grades easier. He lectures in ways that help you remember. VERY great professor, very fair and understanding.

You MUST take very detailed notes during his lectures because the book does not help you study nearly as much as his notes. His exams are extremely hard but he does add a decent curve to each of them. He knows what he is talking about and is willing to help is asked. He is pretty funny!

Very passionate about his work and gives lots of interesting information, however, goes into lots of unwanted detail! Tests use "2 of the above, all of the above" so very helpful to go to class and take notes other than what's on the powerpoint. Gives a good curve on tests though, and always there to answer questions!

Dr. Lange teaches a tough class. Lectures are long and he goes very in detail with some otherwise unimportant stuff but you learn a lot. Tests are VERY hard. Many all of the above none of above 2 of above answers but gives huge curves. I averaged like a low B on tests which were only main grades and finished with an A-. NOT CLEAR ON GRADING SCALE

He is absolutely my favorite professor. You can tell he is very passionate about his work. He is very helpful, and teaches very well. Tests can be difficult because he employs the "two of the above, all of the above" multiple choices, but as long as you study, they aren't bad. He also gives large curves on every exam.

Hands down best professor I've ever had! Not only did I learn a lot, but he makes it very interesting. His passion for the subject is contagious. He always treats his students with respect and makes you want to learn. Take him, go to his office and ask questions, and you will mature as a future professional.

Dr. Lange is very knowledgeable in the subject, but does make the class more interesting. Tests are hard with "2 of the above" or "all of the above" in the same question so that makes it difficult. But I took this in the spring and received an A-. He curves 10-15 a test. I would recommend him if you want to know more about the subject!

I took this class for the spring semester and it was a challenge. A LOT of material is required to learned but Dr. Lange is amazing. He is squirrely sometimes but he is very knowledgable in his field. He challenges you intellectually which is awesome. He does curve but you must still work hard and apply yourself!
