Mr. Melville rocks! Had him for 201 (A) & 203 (B+). He HATES cell phones and tardiness. He will tell you to leave if you mess with your cell phone in class or if it goes off. Plan on turning it completely off. Those didn't affect me and I absolutely loved him! Great sense of humor and willing to help. Wish I could have him for all my classes!

Take this instructor. I loved this online class. Mr. Melville always responded to you in a timely manner, which is rare in an online class. Tests and assignments are straight forward. Grades are posted on time. Very enjoyable experience.

Mr. Melville is the best professor I have ever had. He is very open minded about people and questions, I always see him walking to class and helping students with their personal problems. He is a great (but strict) psychology prof. Take him!!!

Mr. Melville is fantastic! I dreaded having to take Psych but he applies theories to everyday life and makes it fun. Yours success is very important to him. Just as other posts state, he doesn't put up with tardiness, cell phones or students talking during class. Attendance not mandatory but he does take roll and you will be rewarded for coming.

First, look at the "easiness" rating and it helps explain the glowing reviews. If you are a good, self-respecting student with intellectual interest, then avoid like the plague. If you are interested in being locked out of class like a 10yr old for going to the bathroom, then sign up. He was formerly a high-school guidance counselor. Remember them?

Great teacher! Do not be late even if it's on a test day there are NO EXCEPTIONS! Tries to give several examples to make students understand. Very FUN and makes you WANT to come to class to hear him lecture. Test are challenging but not too difficult. Rare text book use, everything is based off lectures and powerpoints. Recommended!!

The only problem is that he not always the same with his rules with other students. Get on his good side and things will be easier for you (like making up a test, when he won't with others). Other than that, I have nothing to complain about. He gives you thorough study guide before every tests and for the final too. Keep him if you get him!

He is my favorite teacher of all time.Take good notes, but wait to highlight until he reviews right before the test.You will make an A if you study the highlighted material.You will make an A+ if you read over the chapter also. He is an awesome teacher. I wished that I had taken him for 201! He makes class fun. He offers the option of doing 2 essay questions for 5 pts extra credit apiece per test. I think TTC ought to make his class mandatory for every student. He offers real world information.

the best professor i ever had!!! I only wish he taught bio210 and 211 so that i could pass those classes also with a professor who only gives you the facts!!! he stuck to his notes and didn't have any surprises on his tests. what he told you to study was what you had on each and every test and quiz. I would HIGHLY recommend him!!!
