Dr. Moran was a wonderful Professor. While he did show me special treatment, it was only because I actually did all the assigned readings; also, I was aware of his status as a leading figure in his field, and, because of this, asked him questions on a regular basis. I was in High School at the time, and simply taking courses at FIU.
