A solid professor, but clearly meant to teach higher level courses. I found this course a little hard to follow, and I would not recommend him for intro.

Very smart guy with intelligent economical things, but I could not understand his class at all. Probably because he is the worst teacher ever in the history of the world. Do not recommend. 69/420

Professor Yohe is unclear. He is definitely a smart person, but he cannot teach an intro class well. He teaches the material very quickly, but this might be because of the course syllabus. His notes are quite unclear. However, there are TA sessions every week, which help a lot. Without TA sessions, problem sets would be impossible.

He's incredibly smart and chill and tries to be helpful. That being said, probably not the best idea to take an intro class with someone like him.

He is well intentioned but a terrible teacher, zero clarity, if you arent very competant with math, you will be very confused, awful at answeriing questions

Not great if you don't get the math or don't get his teaching style. He is very committed to making the class work so when he is unclear, which is often, say something.

While the test were challengin, he also wrote ones that were (as far as tests go) fun to take, if you knew the material they made you think without having you walk out wondering if you had even passed.

Professor Yohe is a wonderful guy and incredibly smart, but he sometimes doesn't explain things all that clearly. Also, his tests are REALLY HARD. That aside, he's a great person and really helpful. I was doing really badly in the class and went to talk to him and he was so incredibly helpful and nice

Very smart. Difficult but do-able tests and problem sets. Gives fast paced lectures but will slow down and clarify if asked. Always ask.

Yohe is a nice man. His classes seem efficient and informative until you try to apply what he has told you. He is very dry, and the material on the homework is far more difficult than the basic stuff he teaches. W/O TA sessions, this would be impossible.
