Comment:

She is the most unprofessional teacher I've ever had. Each class she spends over half the time talking about her personal life, previous students and current students. She seems very knowledgeable in the subject but can't seem to convey that info coherently. The class is very confusing due to the lack of instruction. I wish I could change teachers.

Professor Richardson is a very sweet and caring individual, but she is not a good teacher whatsoever. She does not teach, she rambles about her personal life instead. Furthermore, I will be honest, I didn't learn hardly anything and I am also certain I failed the tests. Basically an easy class if you do the work.

If you want to be become a CPA or learn anything about accounting, do NOT take this class. She's patients, knows her stuff, and generous but she doesn't teach you anything. Oh and she talks for days... thats also why you wont learn anything. She warns you, if you don't like stories then leave. But she is definitely an easy A. Do the work & show up.

Just the worst. Take the other professor if you can. Do not take her. Does not teach, write on the board or give examples. Not a good professor at all. Just horrible. Class is pretty much a learn on your own and even then you will still not understand.

She gives extra credit just for coming to class. There's a lot of homework, not hard just tedious. Most of the tests are group/partner tests. She's very flexible on accepting late work, just let her know beforehand.

Very frustrating at first: The schedule changed a lot and things were a bit disorganized. It helps to adjust, fully accept her ways, and just plow through it. She does care a lot about her students' success and will help you outside of class or try different methods to get the subject across. The work itself is more tedious than difficult.

She is a licensed CPA so you know she'll know her stuff but she just doesn't know how to teach others the material. I only received an A because of the extensive amounts of extra credit I received. On test she gives difficulty points that can turn your F into a C. DO NOT TAKE IF YOU WANT TO BE AN ACCOUNTANT.

Mrs. Richardson goes off topic quite a bit which makes for quick five minute lectures in the last five minutes of class. Don't skip class because sometimes she changes her homework assignments. Took her a long time to get homework back so I wasn't sure if I was doing any of it right for a few weeks. She graded the final on a curve which was nice.

Wonderful lady but teaching methods r for go getters only. assigns hw and then teaches material after. 4 hour night class is a torture(not literally), and I dropped and am looking elsewhere for accounting class next semester. She is prob the most knowledgable accountant around but the teaching is passed off to the book and the teachers tutor.

Richardson is such a sweet lady. She is super easy! Her lectures are hard to follow but wiley plus is easy to do. Just do all the homework and show up to class and stick it out through the whole semester and I guarantee you will pass.

Do not take it if you are majoring in accounting, you would not learn anything. She does not teach at all, you are expected to learn everything from wileyplus and all she goes over in class is your homework from wileyplus. Everybody but one girl in my class failed most of the test we took.

Before I begin, I received an "A" in this class; however, I didn't learn anything. Her lectures are impossible to understand. She did not write on the board not-even- once in the whole entire semester. She gives ALOT of homework and she doesnt teach u how to do it . You literally have to teach ur self, so be ready to be on ur own.

She clearly knows what she is doing but, when she teaches it, its confusing. I didn't buy the book because all of her lectures are by website. I spend $100+ on the online program to end up using it just for one semester, because I changed instructors. I took B2 the next semester and i felt like i was unprepared and didn't learn much from her.

She is a terrible teacher! By week 8 we were just barely starting chapter 4. I've had professors fall behind a chapter but not 5 chapters. She rambled incessantly and when questions were asked she would talk in circles, no one ever understood what she was talking about.

The assignments were clear in syllabus although took time were not hard to complete. Online homework revealed the answers after a few attempts which made it easy to complete for full credit. Online tests were open book timed. Students complained about having to scan and post their assignments but its an online class for un-dependent learners.

It is not hard to get a good grade, just difficult to understand the information. She gives bonus points on tests and you do the homework and you can pass. Tests are not super difficult if you understand basic concepts, but you will have to learn it on your own because she wont teach it to you.

Horribly stressful. Long assignments given with three days to complete. Along with test. Wording for problems is different than from textbook making it difficult to understand. Better chance backpedaling from the answer. Ask teacher for help and response is unclear. Take a different class regardless of circumstances.
