His lectures are long and he posts the slides online, however majority of what he says and what is on the testsquizzes are not on the lecture slides. His tests and quizzes are tough, and this class as a whole is not very easy. There are other teachers that will teach it like a 100 level class like is should be, rather than an upper level.

I was told this class was easy. Yeah, that person lied. Lectures are long, incredibly boring. & outdated. The only source of information for the class is from his lecture slides, no textbook. No matter how hard I studied for the exams, I failed. NOTHING like the slides. Now I get to retake this class, but definitely with a different professor.

He is not a good teacher; very unhelpful when it comes to clarity of information. Class is filled with a lot of rambling stories therefore making his lecture schedule fall behind. There is no required textbook; will not tell you which he suggests. If you take this class, make sure you have a device to take notes on because he posts lecture slides.

I took both GEOL 100 and 125 from him. He is very clear with his instructions and expects you to give your best. He is more than willing to answer questions and help, but has little patience for slacking. Lectures are long but he has a great dry sense of humor. Overall, I really appreciated his fairness and intolerance for BS.

I took this as an online class. Lectures can be long and a bit boring. All his test questions can be found in the readings and lectures. Very few questions come from weekly quiz. Very fair man in grading. You have to work for an "A" but, it's possible. I recommend him.

(Online class) This class was one of the hardest I've taken due strictly to the topographical maps. Be prepared to hate them! This class is NOT an easy A, and he admits that roughly half fail. If you email him questions regarding the quizzes (which are weekly and the only thing that counts toward your grade) he is more than willing to help.

Took invertebrate fossils from Dr Clark. If you do not attend class, expect to fail. Do not depend on other people's notes either. You have to be focused completely during this class, as you will be quized on it later. There are not exams, just daily quizes, which add up quickly. Several people in my class did not pass.

Pretty easy course. He wrote the book, which is a bit difficult to read sometimes. However, his lectures (several per week, each is 30 min. or less) make the readings crystal clear by the end. Easy open book quizzes. Closed book/note 45-50 question tests (proctored). Easy A if you do the work.

Lecture is interesting if you stay awake, and his test questions come straight out of lecture. No need for the book, you'll probly never use it. I got a C first test (didn't study for it) and A on the next 2 (studied old exams primarily) A in class. Best thing to study is the old Exams he putso n k-state Online.

God what a funny SOB. He had some THE worst jokes---but I guess thats why he was so funny. The class was really easy. Just cram I got an A. While boring at times, Clark is still awesome.
