Best professor ever. People say you won't really learn arabic if you take Fam, but you get what you put into it. He makes sure you succeed in his class, and he's really funny and nice! So sweet. Love his class and will keep taking him.

Fam is one of the greatest professors at CofC. I have not had a professor that has made me want to continue my study in a subject more than him. Even if your foreign language is not Arabic I suggest finding a way to take one of his other courses.

BEST PROF EVER! Prof. Fam is such a wonderful teacher. Very helpful and friendly. Makes Arabic enjoyable to learn. GPA booster! Midterm and Final only. He tells you exactly what will be on the exams...they are copied from your text book. Encourages you to embrace new culture. VERY good class. Would recommend to everyone!

HILARIOUS PROF. this is an easy class. if you want to learn arabic you must show up to class and use the tutor. he deosn't assign hmwk for a grade and only 2 exams. he tells you exactly what will be on them.

easy, no homework, and he's hilarious. the class starts out really slow, but towards the end he realizes he has a lot left to teach and crams everything in the last 3 weeks. It's possible to learn the language, but unlikely. there is one quiz all semester then a final.

Professor Fam is a really nice guy. He reads the textbook to you in class and does the exercises as well. Plus,the two exams he gives you are exercises from the textbook that you already have the answers to! He does not care about attendance at all! This class is a real GPA booster! Too bad you do not really learn Arabic.

This class is WAY too easy. If you actually want to learn Arabic, try somewhere else or go to the tutor. He gives you the answers to everything and all you do the whole class is repeat after him. He gets mad at certain people if you don't come to class, but there's not attendance policy. Seems ok at first, but it's annoying to go to this class!!

Dr. Fam is an easy professor! You don't have to come to class, but I recommend it, because he goes over exercises in class and then assigns them for homework, so you just have to write it up neatly when you get home! He only gives two exams, which he gives you the answers for the class before!! He is funny, charming, and totally lovable!!

Took him for arbc 101 and lit in translation. I AM OBSESSED WITH HIM. So funny, so cute. He cracks me up. Really easy, even Arabic language class. You won't regret taking him. If you get into one of his classes DONT DROP. If you cant get in, go to him and he will get you in. LOVE LOVE LOVE Prof. Fam.... and he wears the cutest clothes!!

EASY A! Did you hear me, EASY A! Watch a bunch of videos, write a semi-decent paper four times and you're done. Some of the videos are really interesting and some of them are like watching paint dry. Attendance is not required and you can turn in the papers after the due date. VERY LAX!

He is so nice!! I looked foreward to coming to his class everyday. I never missed a class because I never wanted to. The class is so fun and he is a joker. If you do not like that you have to take 4 semesters of a language, take Arabic because he makes it incredibly easy and fun. I recommed him.

One of the most fun teachers I think I've ever had. He explains things very well and his methods really make you remember the basics of the language. He gives out homework, but you don't really have to do it, however, he will grade it and return it. Tests are all straight from the homework.
