Tests are very specific and very confusing. It's nice he always gives you 3 essay options. Don't take for an 8 AM even if you get a good nights sleep you won't be able to stay awake. Lectures are long and boring. Doesn't get class involved. Puts lecture notes online, but the tests are so specific that they don't help. Do not recommend.

Lectures are very long and boring. You NEED to take notes on his lectures. Pay attention to his opinions. His tests are very hard. But he is a great guy! I really like him, just not his teaching style

Dr. Campbell is tough, but what do you expect at Grove City? His exams are really tough, but if you get low-Bs on those you can still get a good grade because the quizzes are really easy and meant to pull your grade up. Don't miss a class unless you have to, pay attention, take notes, AND READ THE TEXTBOOK. If you can do that, he's not that hard.

I have never had a more caring and all around nice person teach me before. He has a quirky sense of humor while he lectures and makes sure to only test on what you learned in class. That being said, you must pay attention to what he say about the topics to do well on the tests. His essays are easy and he curves, so grades only appear bad at first.

SOCI 201- His lectures are long and he speeds through a lot of material. The content is easy but the exams ask nit-picky questions. When he tells you his opinion, write it down!! You will see it on the exam. Quiz every week over the readings. It's an easy-to-understand class but definitely a tough grade.

His lectures are suuuuuper long, boring, and confusing. He is a great and funny guy but I had no interest whatsoever in this class (Biblical Revelations). His test questions can be oddly worded and ask a lot of questions like "Which of these options did Dr. Campbell NOT affirm during lecture?"

A very nice man, tests do not always reflect studied mateiral or relevant material. This being said, if you pay attention you will be fine in the class. He's an interesting lecturer if he is a little bit dry. He is an extremely easy grader when essays, papers, and presentations are concerned.

Loves to get off topic and babble on about nonsense; we talked about Obamacare for a solid 45 minutes one day for no reason. You write one paper for the class and it's super easy. Very good with telling you what's on his testsquizzes. Lectures are very boring.

Dr. Campbell is a great guy outside of class. He wants you to learn and is very passionate about helping others. The class itself was pretty boring, but he does have some good material. The tests and quizzes are a little difficult.

Gives inconclusive arguments of complex topics. Don't take social problems if you want to learn anything. likes to say he has a Ph.D. and that a college degree doesn't mean anything . very proud of the good he's done too!

I think one of the most frequently used terms for describing Dr. Campbell (besides Weird Al perhaps) is quirky. He is extremely generous and caring, one of the nicest professors I've met, and encourages discussion in class. Multiple choice is pretty hard, but some people figure out how he works. Essays on tests and papers are both easy.

While he is rather quirky and odd, Dr. Campbell is a genuinely friendly, caring, and helpful man. He's always willing to explain anything in class, and if for some reason you can't turn something in on time, he's very understanding. He also grades quite easily. Everyone should take one of his non-humanities classes.

Campbell is down-to-earth, quirky, hilarious, and lots of fun. Quizzes and papers were a breeze. The multiple choice Qs on his exams (80%) are killers, though, so study of for his exams. It?s a bit tough to take notes during his lectures, since they?re pretty unstructured and he gets a little off topic sometimes, but overall I enjoyed his class.

He's a nice guy but definately not one of the best teachers. He goes through some slides way too quickly and is so hard to follow in class. And for Huma 102 he focuses on a literary approach to the Bible WAY too much. Its important but honestly I care more about theology than a rhyme in Isaiah.

Professor Campbell is awesome! He's very understanding and likes to talk. He knows lots, and is always willing to share what he knows. His tests, though, are very hard. Study LOTS! To make up for it, he's very easy on paper grades. :)
