Gillian is the most caring instructors I've ever had. She cares about her students and wants them to do good. Infact she lent me her own textbook when I lost mine in the last two weeks before the final. She cared and helped me so much. I can't thank her enough. She's the best instructor ever! ����

HOLY AMAZE. Expect homework, like every week. But it's seriously there for the better. The questions she gives you for homework, are usually what she tests you on every week. She's helpful, clear, and cracks a few jokes. Definitely a great profteacher

Had 348 with Gillian. Was told she is a hard prof. Exams end up being like what is done in class but a countless times harder than what you expect. Passable, but have to redo the course just to meet the CPA requirements.

Gillian is a good professor overall. Expect a lot of homework if you take her course! She does a good job going over every homework assignment and quiz so that students have a decent understanding of the material. Midterm and final are in the exact same format as all of her quizzes.

Great prof, very enjoyable class. She spends LOT of time reviewing homework/quizzes. This can be tedious, but as a good student, I still found it useful to really cement the knowledge. Good clarity and helpful whenever questions come. Friendly and willing to have fun with the students. Definitely recommended.

Easy marker. Looks for reasons to give you marks or part marks. First half of class you review the previous weeks homework step by step, second half you do a problem step by step, which is similar to the homework, which you then review step by step next week. Very thorough, but I found it tedious. Tries to help you understand why and not just how.

I cannot recommend this teacher enough. She takes a fairly challenging course and breaks it down into understandable segments. Can get tedious when she goes over homework (usualy 1 hour per class) but extremely helpful if you didn't get the assignment. She is also very good at re-wording/explaining things if you didn't get it the first time.

This lady is incredible - seroiusly, if you must take an accounting class (don't really care for accounting) you should ABSOLUTELY take it with her. She's hard, but you walk away from the class having learned something useful (for a change). Has tons of quizes, but that makes the tests way easier.
