I took this class thinking that it would be an easy A and I was very wrong. Her notes are brief and she goes through them very fast. She lectures all of the class and it is hard to write down everything she is saying. She makes rude comments if you have to leave early. And if you arent paying 100% attention she will make a scene. I dont reccomend

Very nice, lectures were long but very clear, she emphasized on whatever we needed to know for quizzes and tests and makes sure we have all the correct information. Books were good for doing the study guides every week but we covered so much in class that I never had to actually read through it.

Mrs. Atterberry was phenomenal. she knew what she was talking about, and was very clear cut with what you needed in your notes. She also has study guides that go along with each chapter highlighting key terms and pieces you need to study. She also lets you use a notecard on each exam including the final. Overall, great lady and awesome class.

The Teacher is great, she has a real passion for what she teaches, is great at giving back graded assignments on time. this class requires a lot of reading and taking notes. she gives out pop quizzes so make sure you show up to class because she won't let you make it up. Gives out study guides for upcoming tests.

Definitely listen and take notes. She gives out study guides for you to take notes along with it. The book is good for taking extra notes on your notecard for the tests/final. I got away with never doing the reading but I'm also an Art History major. She always tries to make her lectures fun. You do NOT need "The Art of Writing About Art" AT ALL.

Professor Atterberry is very boring. We learned about chairs and structures of houses. She mentions a lot of topics that are not even in our study guide or tests so it gets confusing. Wouldn't recommend her since she brags about how she went to a University almost as if she looks down on us.

I had absolutely no interest in art history when I took this class. She makes you want to actually learn about the art. You get to use a notecard for the exams.

Giselle is a sweet person who is willing to help whoever needs it. She covers a lot of material during her lectures, so it might seem like the class takes longer than usual. Overall, though, her detailed lectures help out a lot. Make sure to stay awake and take good notes! Attendance is taken daily. Make sure to participate to make class fun.

Giselle is an impeccable teacher. She is well travelled and genuinely interested in her students. You can bring a notecard with information on it to the test. She will notice when you miss classes or come late. She asks you to read but her lecture covers it all. Pay attention and take good notes with the study guide, and you won't need a book!

I won't lie, the class itself is really boring. It is all lectures where she discusses artists and works of art. However, the class itself is really easy. She allows you to use notes on quizzes and a notecard for the tests. It's not the most fun class, but overall it's very easy. If you put in the effort, you should have no problem.

Professor Atterberry knows her stuff. I feel like I learned so much about Modern Art, from the Rococco period (c. 1715-1774) to today! The exams include essay questions, but she allows you to bring a notecard with any information you want, so they aren't too bad. The course is less about individual paintings and more about trends!

Such a passionate, knowledgeable professor. Pretty funny and a great warm personality. Pop quizzes were easy and usually about 4 questions. It is very important to take detailed notes. She explains everything very thoroughly so write down just about everything she says. Definitely one of my favorite classes/professors.

Gisele is one of my favorite professors I've had. She makes art history fun and interesting and I always looked forward to her class. Tests are directly from the study guide (but very detailed) and are multiple choice & essay question. If you take good notes and read the text (esp. discussions of the works from the study guide), you'll be fine.

The class material was boring but she is a very good teacher. She is passionate about the subject and will help you if you need it! If you take detailed notes then it's an easy A. She let us use note cards for quizzes/tests (unless it was a pop quiz).
