Dont even bother with this dude, the whole semester you wont know your grade, his quizzes are based on his lectures & notes (which are hardly any) & theres questions on quizzes weve never discussed about. His midterm/final were a slap in the face, 15 questions each, with 2 explaining terms ?s. I do NOT recommend him at all. Boring, boring!!!

Took him just because his class is the only one that fits my schedule. WORST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE. Super boring class, repeats himself to the point that it's really annoying. I didn't learn anything from him. Only take him if you want an easy class -- but imagine sitting through his lectures, just wasting your time.

Comment:

Funny guy and easy to get along. Lecture heavy and can get boring at times. I think his memory is going out. I would doze off a few times because the material was bland. I would bring a laptop or homework and utilize your time well in class. Easy grader and he gives you a study guide almost identical to your test. Would recommended 10/10.

Comment:

I took his class during the summer and it was such an easy class. He does have a lot of quizzes but his finals were only 15 questions and they were all from the quizzes!! Plus two short answers about key terms. Would definitely take him for a summer class again. Pretty easy and he is super sweet and understanding.

He is a sweet guy as everyone says and he totally means well. HOWEVER, I'm afraid his memory is going because he would repeat himself several times during lecture and would always forget if he told us due dates/test dates!! Honestly, you'll have to teach yourself out of the textbook if you want to pass because I couldn't learn a thing from him.

Glen Ross is a sweet and caring professor. You will get an A if you study and do the group project. Just be ready to a group presentation. His tests are straight from the lectures and the book. It's very straight forward. I highly recommend taking his class!

103 pol. Sci winter semester and am thankful I did. It's a gen ed so you have to take it, but I wouldn't recommend this class. Prof. Ross rarely writes notes on the board, he tends to get off topic, and doesn't exactly work his way back to his original point. Heavy grader but leaves specific guidelines But some sources he gives for wrk are outdated

First time doing this but I have to say this. The most boring class I have ever taken!! Do not take this class in the morning cause you will fall asleep. Super easy class only hw is a few paper and the test are too easy.

Professor Ross is one of the kindest teachers I have had. Super sweet guy who is very passionate about the field of political science . He tends to talk more than lecture but if you're actually listening the material is covered in such a way that makes sense and definetly made the tests easier . He's always willing to talk and help and grades easy!

Professor Ross is pretty funny and his lectures are interesting. He brings a great perspective to Politics. His lectures are long and may seem like they go off topic but he does make a point. If you pay attention to his lectures and examples you will pass his class. Not much homeowork, which is a plus!

The most painful and boring class I have ever taken. Super easy but professor Ross have a way of going completely off topic. It took him a week to just go over the syllabus. He grades on a curve and it is an easy class just be prepared to be bored stiff for about 2 hours out of the day several days a week.

Mr. Ross was a good professor. His class was sometimes super interesting or extremely boring. Honestly, you don't need to buy the textbook just take really good notes. Study little details for your quizzes, and keep all your quizzes for tests. Super easy class, just need to study a bit

Not a tough class. Book was rarely used, mainly for definitions. He sometimes gets off topic but it happens. Quizzes are easy if you study a handful of times. Gives out a sheet with terms that will be on the exams but he'll pick 4. Take good notes and simply study. You'll pass.

The man is highly intelligent in his field, no doubt there. However, the lectures consist of rambling in which he jumps from one matter to another for no other reason but it just so happened to pop into his mind; some random thoughts are correlated to the class, others completely irrelevant- such as 20 minute talks about his favorite ringtones.

Prof Ross is such great guy and I learned a lot about politics. His class is SUPER easy. Lectures can be long but I thought he was funny and I enjoyed his stories. Hmwk includes a headline review every week, a short quiz after each chapter and a test after every 2 chapters. Take notes and study the terms. Took 3 quizzes/2 tests during the semester

Professor is a cool guy. I learned a lot about him through the semester because he likes to share his personal life stories lol. I hardly go to class and I still have an A. There is a bi-weekly half page review on a news article and thats it for hw. Tests are easy, drops the lowest grade, but he's a pretty good teacher. Straightforward class. Easy.

Professor Ross was great! I loved his lectures. He has a lot of real life experience in the subject and is very passionate about it. A lot of people in my class weren't really interested so they were very bored. If you take his class make sure to go to class and take very good notes! If you do that you will get a good grade!

Overall he was great prof., But he doesn't quite stick to the lecture he is teaching that day. Class was boring but then again i took it during winter so hours are long and the subject is not interesting to me. He gives homework but not a lot. Quizzes are based more on what he talks about in class. Tests are based on quizzes so study them.
