Well, Glann is a very nice person, very friendly, but he is awful as a professor!! After his classes, you understand you learned nothing...he tests on material two weeks after the first day of school that you will cover at the end of the year, so you have to know all the material from the book. 30% of the final grade is participation, good luck!

Glenn is an overall good professor. He tends to make alot of mistakes in class, having us correct them. Buy the text book. After glenn recorrected my exam my final score went up 20%, always ask for a regrade if you find anything fishy

The poorest professor I had at Asper. His explanations are ridiculous. He isn't clear. His jokes aren't funny. Considering Asper is trying to be a world class school it is a joke that this guy teaches our flagship course (Admin Poly). He isn't an academic, wasn't successful in business so I have no idea how he got the job.

the most condescending, useless prick ive ever seen at asper. guy treats you like a child and his classes are an embarrassment. actually, he's just an embarrassment...thats better. thinks he is an absolute genious and makes you feel like a god damn idiot if you're unsure of one of his erroneous questions. good luck with this goon, ur gonna need it

Not a pushover like the spoiled rich kids are used to. I think this scared most of the students, but his intentions were good. He treated me like he was my boss and it was actually refreshing and relevant considering it's a business course. Very helpful if you needed to ask the man a question. Thank you Mr. Ismond.

I'd avoid him at all costs. Speaks to students in a condescending manner, makes assumptions which are sometimes ridiculous and hard to follow. Not a good business professor, I dreaded each class.

If there is one thing I learned in this class, it was that I should always use rate my professor before I sign up. I failed to do so with Ismond. Avoid at all cost!!! He gets a high off using his authority over students. By far the worst instructor I have ever ever had.

Definitely an odd prof, but one of the best I've ever had. Come to class prepared, and you find you get more out of it. Know how to back up your answers and don't try any BS. Also know that there are stupid questions/answers and you deserve the humiliation if you ask one. But you can't be humiliated if you know what you are talking about.

Interesting character - if you want to do well, you can't just sit and coast through. If you participate, your grade will go up and you'll appreciate Glenn's teaching style more. He can be a bit crude at times and his teaching style is...unique. In a lot of ways, he's like Harmatz, you hate him at first, but then you warm up to him eventually.

He makes dumb jokes in class, and doesn't know how to teach. Yes, he encourages us to think, but just about anyone can do that. Doesn't explain very well where the calculations he does comes from. Very odd man. He's not mean or scary like some people think, but he's definitely a poor teacher, and you won't learn much from his class. Avoid him.
