She is a genius as far as math goes. She doesn't really tolerate slackers. She is able to explain things many ways until you understand. She keeps her class going at the rate she wants it, but is more than willing to make sure you understand no matter how much outside class-time it takes. She is a really nice lady too, she made a cake for my bday!

I think she's a pretty decent teacher. She takes off on your test for ridiculous reasons. She has a group of students come from the class meet with her after every test to talk about the other student's comments- but I can't say that she's actually taken any into consideration.

AVOID HER AND HER HUSBAND AT ALL COSTS. She is the worst "prof" imaginable. We call her Devil Child. She doesn't know anything at all about anything math (ever). She tells you bs like a line has more than one x or y intercept, a circle has more than one radius (2 occasions), and false definitions.

I had this as my RCC freshman year. She is HORRIBLE. She uses her own book that her husband wont use and that she cna't get published. There is a reason for htis. IT'S HORRIBLE. She likes girls, not guys. I was going to be a math major until I had her. DO NOT take her class.

She demands you spend way more time on her class than you should. Makes the subject much harder then it has to be. Grades her tests like she wants you to do poorly, last class ave was 68. Took off point on my test for not ending sentance w/ a period.AVOID

Dr. Child is the reason I attent Rollins. She is amazing and very helpful. She is more than a teacher and is an encouraging mentor. Go to talk to her, especially if you need help with her class. You are only going to get out what you put into her clas
