Dr Holloway is a good professor. He explains concepts clearly and is easy to understand. His tests are really tough though. To pass his class, you need to have a thorough understanding of the concepts.

He loves telling stories. His class notes are excellent help for assignments. Personally, he came to me when I wasn't doing well, helped me when I needed it, but always encouraged me to try harder. He seemed to really enjoy teaching this class. He is totally immersed in the fluids world.

Brilliant man, who needs his sabbatical. He is a terrible teacher, in the sense that he has no connection to his audience. He doesn't understand his students, nor does he care. On the final he through on 2 questions that have not been covered before, and were not in our book. Don't consider asking him for assistance.

He is very uptight prof, absolute zero emotional intelligence and he being the chair does not help. On the bright side his lectures are one of the best I have ever attended. GO to his class, do assignments on your own, be attentive in class, you will pass. Oh yea pass his midterm at all cost, final will be super hard.

Great prof, pay attention in class, don't go to his office at the end of term asking questions from the first day even if you have a 4.2 gpa. If you keep up on the assignments ie don't copy them you will have learned what you need to get A+ in the course and understand the concepts of fluids.

I met someone out in the community the other night who has a daughter who plays ringette with holloway's daughter. He said holloway is even intense as a ringette parent. He gave us a midterm and only 2 out of 40 people passed it
