Horrible. His materials are outdated at least 30 years. Boring and his comments towards immigrants are absolutely ridiculous for a MBA program that depends international students. You should learn a lot more reading the book by yourself. He forces you to buy his e-book and rarely uses it. Profitable for sure but academically a huge disaster.

Comment:

Really not too bad. The key to an A is: going to class, making a great cheat sheet (u can put ANYTHING on there), and doing your homework, which is a bonus added onto your grade. Just email him if you have a question, he is very good about getting back to you. Class is pretty boring, but at least you don't have to memorize anything for the exams.

I cant understand why everyone complains about this class. I was worried @ first but if u make good cheat sheets (c&p ALL the notes in tiny font and handwrite HW problems), do all the HW, go to every class, and email him w/ questions (cuzz yes, his website IS disorganized), it was NOT hard. He was very helpful & responsive to any questions I had.

Wow, quite possibly the worst class i've taken in the MBA program. This guy has no organization with notes online, doesn't know how to use technology, and doesn't know how to lecture and hold anyone's attention. Bring a laptop to pass the time.

Tests were tough - especially the final. With the cheat sheets he allows makes the tests bearable. If you do all the homework and make a good cheat sheet, he will be very fair. The beginning was a little slow with him, but he does have a good personality and is funny if you get a chance to talk to him.

first off - he's a very nice guy & means well... BUT everything i learned i had to teach myself...he is an old school teacher... good thing is you can use a front/back piece of paper with ANY notes for all three test - you should make an "A" because of that... make sure you have ALL the printouts before class - this makes things a little easier.

A dinosaur - rambles on about his accomplishments in the fuel industry and recent work with health issues. DRY! DRY! DRY! Not very helpful-too old school- I think there is some relevant knowledge in there somewhere but its applicability is lost in the translation. They keep him around, why?

Strange course... Lectures were pretty worthless. Tests are extremely difficult, but he allows a full page cheat sheet. Essentially, the course is testing you on how well you can jam (relatively worthless) information onto an 8.5x11 sheet of paper.
