Comment:

Mr Bowman is awesome! He really knows how to teach math in a way that is fairly easy to understand. He gives "old school" homework (from the book),but it's not required to do. It does help to do it, since the quizzes and the tests are over what is covered in the hmwrk. I learned a ton from him and enjoyed the class.

Mr. Bowman was really clear on all the topics, really helpful and will work with you if you go to class regularly. Not big on tardiness if its an early morning class. Really good Math proffessor. Also available after class was over to answer questions.

My fault for not attending as much as I should have. Could have received an A. He was easy to understand and was patient. Every class I made it to I was able to understand the lesson with ease. He doesn't give too hard of questions on the quiz, but some will make you think. I would take another math class with him.

He is very old fashioned. He explains why things work the way they do instead of saying "just do it". He does not use Math XL. He takes time to answer questions during lessons.Be prepared to take notes. He is awesome.

He's a really nice teacher and is willing to try and help you understand if you're confused. Personally, i didn't favor his style of teaching; it was boring and sometimes confusing. But overall I thought he was a good teacher, the class wasn't too hard.

Really good professor! Taught the class very well and made sure students understood the material before moving on. Quizzes are at the beginning of class (so be on time!) but he answers all questions beforehand--Also, the quizzes are open book. Great for staying after class to discuss student concerns. Nearly impossible to fail this class!!!

This guy really knows what he is doing, but he doesn't convey it very well. it is as easy as breathing for him, but teaching it is another story. He moves rather quickly through the material and doesn't break things down so it is easy to see what is happening. If you are not mathematically inclined I suggest avoiding this guy.

He may be a bit boring but really breaks down all procedures for you. He makes it easy to understand but like with any other teacher I do use my bok alot as reference to make sure I know what's going on. Doesnt require homework, it's up to you if you wanna do it. Tests are easy and short, quiz once a week, always willing to stay after class to help

Holy Moly, the worst teacher I have ever had. If you are not motivated to pick up your text and teach YOURSELF, forget taking this teacher. Dull, Rediculous to try understanding the words comming out of his mouth. Drives me crazy, lol. (I show up to class every day!)

True, he's a little boring... but he's the best math teacher I've ever had. He explains things until you everyone finally gets it. He doesn't require any homework and he curves the hell out of his grades. Show up and you'll pass. And yes he does allow graphing calculators.
