Comment:
Harber is a nice person. The best way to do good in this class is to practice the lab and know what you are doing!!!! Learn from each exam and ask questions depending on what you got wrong. Practice is the key to this class. Dont start practicing too late.

Mr. Harber is a really nice guy, and knows his stuff. But actually teaching it is difficult for him. He states that the labs you do online and in class are on the test, but they hardly are. His lectures cover information that isn't relevant to the class. test grades this semester were around mid 50's. Only a handful of peopke passed the course.

This class was one of the toughest classes I took this semester. He is a nice guy, just his teaching style is not so nice. A lot of people are having trouble passing this course. I wish he explained the topic for the test more instead of discussing other things that we rarely used in class. Go to the lab, the more you practice the better.

Professor Harber is a really sweet man and he knows his stuff, but the thing about him is that he just needs to adopt a better way of teaching. I think he may just be stuck in his ways. Whatever you expect to be on ANY of his exams, you are wrong! There are no A's in his classes. He could be great, but he needs to realign his curriculum.

Slow grader. Will never tell you how you are doing in the class, you have to do the grade calculations yourself. He reads off the notes that he puts on the projector word for word. His test reviews are not helpful at all. His lectures are boring and drags out. A must have class for I.T Majors, so good luck.59

He is the worst teacher I have ever had the misfortune of knowing. All the comments are true. The assignments are 100% unrelated to the lectures & he never explains how to use the language/system. Textbook is informative but useless for exams because he actually does pick favorites. God have mercy on you if you have to take him.

Let's put it this way. The last exam, the highest grade was 78 with the average of 64 after the 16 point curve. Each exam previous was the same. He also doesn't let us keep the exams or take notes on what we missed because he thinks we just want the answers to regurgitate on the final. So basically unnknown expectations and mistrust.

Agree his grading is unfair. His test are very specific. And reads from the book, as if an unexperience instructor when he speaks.

Any class he teaches he is unclear about what he expects, slow in returning anything, and way too hard on tests. The entire semester everyone is getting 60% or lower then at the end he gives C's to his favorites.
