Incredibly knowledgeable in the field of public administration. If you are interested in pursuing a career in P.A. he is the professor to introduce you to the field. The assignments and tests are fairly easy as long as you keep up with the readings and lectures. There are participation grades for class discussions, so if you are shy be aware.

Professor Ingwood is very knowledgeable about the topics he teaches. He gives a lot of great feedback and goes through detailed outlines of what is expected in the course. He encourages participation and challenges thoughts and ideas, this is what university is for. Do not be intimidated by the negative reviews. I thoroughly enjoyed this class!!!

I thought his lectures were informative and interesting. He was very clear in his expectations. I found his marking to be generous. He may not be the most exciting, but I enjoyed the course a lot and felt it was very helpful, which I can't say about some of my other 100 level courses.

Professor Inwood is fairly nice and a fair grader, but is probably unparalleled in his ability to ramble. He also cracked this weird joke about how the "tyranny of the clock" is among us, or something, every single class. From what I gather, he wasn't a huge fan of Harper. Also, the textbook is super helpful.

Awful. Arrogant. Simulation was ridiculous. You have a better chance of passing the 'Kobayashi Maru' ( i.e. the test itself was a cheat. )

Hated the class! He went off topic a lot, always rambled. Very rude towards students, often made people feel as if they shouldn't be in university. Tough markers, and made comments that felt like personal attacks. Also, he came across very arrogant because he wrote his own textbook. Overall, would strongly recommend that you don't take his course.

I really enjoyed Professor Inwood's class. He was really helpful laying out what to expect on the midterm, provided solid guidance on how to write papers and good feedback on the papers. Lectures were topical and interesting, and the conversations were wide-ranging. Great professor and great class!

Rambles a lot. His lectures are interesting, but he has these constant bad jokes about the federal Conservatives while not pointing out mistakes from the other parties. He is an extreme hard marker, to the point that one wonders if it's personal. Try to avoid his class if you need a good grade.

Awesome professor! Keeps lecture light and funny with cheesy jokes. Is so unbiased when he teaches that it was difficult to figure out what his view were, which made it quite interesting when writing a final paper. He made me think and I learned a lot! TAKE HIS CLASSES!!

Don't be intimidated by this proff just because he wrote the book. He made the course easy to follow because he delivers his knowledge well which is great for those who do not yet have existing/great practical knowledge of the real world. To do well in this course think of it as a history course and make sure to read the book!

I think he's a really great prof. He's willing to sit down with you in his office to help and answer questions. He is extremely knowledgeable on Canadian politics. The class in very interactive. But he is a tough marker and very particular. It's not a breeze class. If you're prepared you'll do well. If you want to learn, definitely take it!

POL720: I got an A, didn't always go to class and didn't really read the book at all but still got an A. I guess you just have to have some degree of interest in Canadian Nationalism. He's really not that hard of a marker, pretty hilarious photo for whoever uploaded that.

He really isn't that hard of a marker as some people here allege. Put solid effort and you will get results. Though it is true he has that reputation on campus. You will learn a lot in his course, though expect to do some heavy reading. One of the best politics professors in the university.
