One of the best Material Sciences Professor, made the class understand Material Science is important for Engineers. Gave examples from her work experience. Quizzes were more than fair. I did not write the final exam with her as i already had A in the course without writing the final. For quizzes just remember Guida is Nasty!!.

You either learn the material on your own or not a all. Treats the entire class like a review and does not teach. Doesn't use the textbook so she can sell her own hand made ones. Worst prof I've had so far.

Spent too little time in lectures actually covering course material. After every question she poses, gives the class 5-10 minutes to talk with neighbours which turns into a wasted 10 minutes, which happens several times a class. First test had a class average of 39.4%, which she followed up on by commenting about how fair her tests are.

Guida is a Saint! It never fails that in one of the Engineering labs she's always there helping out students with their assignments. Will go incredibly out of her way to help out students, checks forums with regards to her assignments to the very last minute and helps out frequently.

Probably the most helpful prof at UNB. Goes out of her way to help people. The class starts off so easy though, that you underestimate the amount of work you need to put in.

8:30a classes are always difficult, but she keeps the students alert. Will go out of her way to assist, even on midterms and finals. The assignments are challenging, and the tests seem to try to mislead you with useless information, but considers many factors in grading beyond the answer you wrote.

Walking into this, she has two things going against her - the course sucks, and you dont know if shes a he or a she. once you get past that, shes a great prof, makes an otherwise dull course interesting, and is one of the nicest people youd want to meet
