Gives an EXTREMELY unreasonable amount readings, but if you seem to be sincerely trying he'll cut you some slack in the grading department. Just get on his good side. He's always prepared and organized but very unclear about project/paper requirements..also pretty intimidating. But the lectures are amazing. You can tell he loves the subject.

Remedi is unapproachable, nasty, egotistical, and an unbelievably unfair grader. Let's just say that I came into Trinity set on being a Spanish major, and after taking a class with this guy, I won't ever utter a word in Spanish again. Avoid Remedi like the plague. Although, I'd actually rather catch the plague than take a class with him again.

Without a doubt the worst professor I have ever had, it is difficult to know where to begin. In the classroom he is disorganized and seems unprepared. As an instructor he is arrogant and patronizing. As a person he is mean-spirited and uncaring. He plays favorites and discourages participation. He is unfair when it comes to grading. Just awful!

Comment:

The best professor I've ever had! Hard classes but I learned more than in any other class. He's tough on students who don't care or slack out, but is very helpful if u're genuinely interested. Fascinating lectures and discussions. Talks a lot but you can have a conversation with him in class.

Gustavo is possibly too smart for his own good. He digresses and rambles about absolutely nothing. His lecturing should be classified as jabberwocky--it goes nowhere, says nothing, and bores everyone. Although he grade liberally, attending his classes is painful, frustrating, and unenjoyable. C-

If I had a dollar for everytime Remedi made me hit my head against a wall in pure, unadulterated rage, I would have more than enough money to have him shipped back to Uruguay, preferably in small pieces. He is unfair, harsh, and plays favorites.

remedi made my freshman spring my own personal hell. his class made me it's b**** over and over, and i was bored constantly. the bright spot is that he's a very intelligent man, interesting if you can make yourself pay attention. tends to ramble... a LOT.
