This is an easy class with a great professor who genuinely want to get to know students. Approach him after class and talk to him, its a big class so prepare for that and he has some great stories!

Dr. Grimes is a better pastor than teacher in that the class was pretty easy, though it was a GenEd class and a SURVEY of the New Testament, not an in depth study. I would have appreciated higher expectations but that's just me, I'm sure :)

EASY teacher, EASY A, just make sure u take your notes, gives exact questions on the test. all the answers from the notes. no papers. if u can buy and share the book with someone..u dont need to read it. but u will need it for take home quizzes. answers to take home quizz r in back of book. !! he is boring!!

I LOVED his class. He's extremely passionate about what he teaches and makes sure you understand his points. I agree that he's emotional but that's what I loved about him as well! It's an easy A class but you will DEFINATELY learn some important stuff...Extremely recommended! =)

Dr. Grimes was incredible! His class was a 100 level and he made it clear that he conformed the syllabus to reflect that. In other words...it was easy! The discussion time was always interesting and he has a great background and a lot of knowledge. Lecture was not boring at all. Highly recommended!

He is such a nice guy! His class is a good survey/overview of the NT. He really gets out the main points of the NT without stressing you out. Can be an easy A if you do all the work. He has great stories and really cares about his students.
