Stewart is probably the most accessible prof outside of class that I've ever had. He really went above and beyond to answer questions. He's approachable, caring and clearly an expert in his field. Difficult topics (esp sexual assault) treated with care and respect. Great lectures with a good balance of answering questions and keeping on track.

Love love LOVE Professor Stewart. He answers everything thoughtfully, but is still funny. He also treats delicate subject matter with the respect it deserves. He is clear, but not married to his ideas. He seems to really care that he imparts useful knowledge, and that his class is intellectually stimulating. I have great respect for this man.

The smartest man I have ever met. Incredibly humble and polite. He was my small group professor. Coming into the class I was not interested in Criminal law at all, but I learned more in this class than any other.

He teaches straight from the text he wrote, making the class easy to follow. Class is fun and interesting; loved his Law and Order examples. He makes the exam way less stressful by giving the fact pattern (but not the questions) in advance.
