Prof. Sabea is very enthusiastic about the subject of African studies. Lots of guest speakers (some better than others) and her emotion is very powerful. Keeps the class involved, exams can be a little hard to study for, though. Overall, good class.

Comment:

Had no history in African American studies or Anthropology, but I still loved this course because of Professor Sabea. She is fantastic and I was incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon it. A bit of a challenge if you want an A, but WELL worth it-- TAKE THIS CLASS!
